Roommates Turned Lovers

Chapter 5

The sound of a door opening and closing woke me up from my sleep, that and being a little cold from sleeping half-dressed. I also managed to kick all my blankets off of me in my sleep. I slowly turned over onto my back and looked at the ceiling as my feet poked over the bed, that’s a first.

I looked around me, and then I looked down as something tickled my foot

I saw that I was taller, I was skinnier and had curves

But the thing that caught my eye was the person tickling my foot, it looked like she grew a little more and she had clearer skin to make it look like she was wearing makeup. It also looked like that the makeover made her lose some weight as well but I can’t be sure because she still looks beautiful

“You’re awake,” Aili said surprised as I made eye contact with her eyes which were still amber. “And your eyes are now grey,” she added and I smiled

“Which means that I might not need my glasses anymore,” I said and she grinned

“It looks like there’s a note on the side of your bed, why don’t you read it while I brush my teeth and look at what the makeover changed,” she said and I pouted. “You’ll get your kiss after you get rid of dragon breath,” she said and I grinned. “It also looks like your teeth were straightened and whitened,” she said which made me widen my grin and she giggled as she walked into the bathroom

I finally sat up and grabbed the note off of the desk, it was weird not needing to read anything with glasses but I was somewhat used to it because I had contacts at one point. “Aili,” I began, “this is for the both of us,” I said quickly getting out of bed. “Aside from the things that we already figured out, the rest of this note is for us,” I said, approaching the bathroom which had the door closed. “May I enter so you can read this too,” I asked and the door opened

As I walked in I looked at myself in the mirror and almost forgot to give the note to Aili

I was taller, probably three inches taller, my hair was longer and back to its natural dirty-blonde color and my eyes were a striking grey. My breasts shrank a little but not that much, my thighs grew a little more as well but not as much to make someone think that I wasn’t fat. Overall I had more of an athletic build than I used to, it seemed to me that my makeover was a combination between a soccer player and a model.

“Out of the whole world how are we the first soulmates to find each other,” Aili asked stunned and then sighed. “We are so not going to be at peace with this,” she said with a groan as I looked at her

She had a swimmers build combined with that model look, her hair had changed from brown to more of a light red that sort of resembled auburn hair. “I mean we are under quarantine still so we don’t exactly have to deal with a bunch of paparazzi,” I said scratching the back of my head

“You’re right, no one has even followed us here anyway,” she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air. “Like they aren’t staying in their cars watching for us to come downstairs in our underwear.”

I rolled my eyes, “First of all,” I said trying to calm her down, “I am the only person who’s going to see you in your bra and underwear and you are the only one who is going to see me in mine. Second of all,” I paused, “you honestly think that someone is already sitting in our driveway waiting for us to make a move?”

She blushed at my subtle flirting, “Not right now, but how else did they find out,” she asked and then her eyes lit up. “What about a bikini,” she asked and I chuckled

“Bikinis are swimsuits, I’m talking about things that would be embarrassing for people to catch us in. Remember the makeover was government-issued so they probably got a notification when our makeover happened. Also, remember how we made out in the car yesterday,” I said and her lips thinned into a line. “Do you want me to go with you to the store for shopping,” I asked her and she nodded ferociously, “Do you also want me to go downstairs to check to see if anyone’s in the driveway?”

“Yes but first this,” she said, setting the letter down then jumping on me, she wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck and proceeded to kiss me. I stepped backwards a little bit before soaking in the contact that my heart ached for as I kissed her back.

I walked backward a little more before turning around and placing her back first on the bed, “So much for waiting to kiss me before I brushed my teeth,” I said with a smirk when we broke for air.

“Oh shut up and kiss me,” she said with a glare as I chuckled and started making out with her. Soon she turned me over onto my back as her legs were still wrapped around my waist and I was a little top-heavy. I moaned as she moved her hands softly down my body

Let’s just say, after that neither of us was virgin

I crept down the side staircase tying the robe that I had put on as Aili followed behind me putting hers on, at this point, we didn’t have anything on so we were both making sure that the robes were on and tied as securely as we could make them so we could avoid any embarrassing situations. We heard a noise downstairs after we finished so we went back to the thought of checking for paparazzi.

After making sure my robe was secure I descended the rest of the staircase which led to savoring smells of breakfast. When I got to the bottom of the staircase my eyes showed me something that I couldn’t believe.

“Oh, you two finally decided to come down here; that’s good I was worried that either you two were dead or failed to notice the smell of your breakfast getting cold,” the man at the stove said as he flipped a pancake.
