"This is all your fault!" He storms inside the cold room. "You did this on purpose, didn't you?" He asks but then, the woman just stares at him like there's nothing wrong.
"Of course I did it on purpose, you know how much I value time as much as I value peace."
"And this is what you call peace!? Me being trapped in a situation I don't even want to remember!"
"Calm down! We won't have a proper conversation if you keep on giving me fragmented words that I cannot seem to connect." She is calm because she knew what the man in front of him is talking about. When the man settles down, she sighs. "Tell me, what is it?"
"I don't think I can do this anymore. I don't know how long can I endure the temptation—"
The woman gulps, knowing exactly what and who he is talking about.
"And I cannot see myself without spending any time with her now but at the same time, I feel so blind for my tomorrow if I sacrifice this... All of this!" He is frustrated, pained, angered, all emotions on one plate.
"You have a hard time now choosing which choice will you have to choose, am I correct?" She asks a she looks down on her book, scanning something. The man didn't respond, for he is still searching and organizing the same words that he would not regret saying.
"I don't —"
"You're not being honest with yourself anymore. It is the fear of losing one side, that you fear of facing forward without the other. You're being blocked with this fear that blinded you from what you honestly want." She pauses as she closes the book in front of her, her eyes meeting his.
"I don't know what you're getting at." He shortly replies, not wanting her to beat around the bush anymore. With that response, the woman has already had a smirk carved into her lips.
"I'll ask you one question, and you'll have to answer me on what you truly want."
"Is this a test?"
"You can say that." This time, the woman stands up, hands behind her back as she approaches the man. The man couldn't seem to move, not say another word. He feels like he is being frozen at the moment until the woman is already standing in front of him. The woman raises her hand as she pointed to two parts of the body as she asks the question he's been afraid of answering.
"Will you follow your mind... Or your heart?"
