Our gambling business was robbed!

.Nathan POV

“Boss, there is an emergency .” the entrance of Matt , my right hand man practically came during a moment when I did not expect any one to be interrupting us but I know very well that he is a kind of person who will never interrupt my privacy only if he has something very urgent or rather important to tell me .

“What ?” I asked him rudely but only realized what I had done after it was already done it . But him being my very close friend I know very well that he understands .

“Please, Rain sit and have something to eat . I will be back very soon .”I said hoping she did not once again repeat the crazy ideas that she had already shown me before . No way that I could be able to just stare at her being so stubborn without actually punishing her.

I moved out with Matt who seemed so tensed by just looking at him . I could tell that whatever was worrying him was something that was surely very serious and this really made me so anxious to know everything.

“What the hell are you talking about ?” I was quick to as him the moment we were out of the living room .

“Our gambling business was robbed and close to 2billion dollars robbed.”

“WHAT! I could not hide the shock that was in my voice at the information that I had just said .

I could not believe what I had just heard from Matt. That gambling business though ill is one of the most profit business that I have . It gives me such insane profits that losing all that money is not something that one can just wish to loss in just a blink of an eye .

“How did this happen?”

“Where were all the guards ?”

I questioned Matt question after question since I was so perturbed and could not think straight .This was something that had nor happed as far as I could recall. It was something that had not happened in forever if I could say that .

“I mean that is a place that is guarded so much how can you tell me that they just broke it up ?” I had never felt so confused and wordless in the whole of my life . There seemed to be something that I was totally not making it .

“Calm down.” Matt tried his way with me but it was not helping at all . It was still so much for me .

“No no , I can never let anyone ruin my businesses . I have worked so hard to get where I am. I don’t owe any person anything for all my success.”

“I promise that I am not going to let any person or even anything ruin what I have fought so hard to get .”

I meant each word and was going to do that . Just then , my phone rang . It was a number that was unknown . How strange?
