TWO DAYS LATER
It’s a little embarrassing the way Alex has been babying me the past couple of days. I’m even more embarrassed that I kind of liked it. It’s not surprising, since he’s always very attentive and sweet, but this was a whole new level. My feet barely touched the floor he carried me around so much. Considering he’s the one who was hurt, it doesn’t seem fair to him.
I suspect that he did it in anticipation of what he knew was coming. There will be several announcements to give the pack today and I’m nervous to see everyone’s reactions. As scared as I am, I know that it’s better to explain things to everyone than to have them come up with their own theories.
