"No more nightmares?" Axe asks as soon as I wake up.
I shake my head and receive a bright smile as well as a peck on the nose.
"Good. There's a gown waiting for you inside the bathroom. Mason cooked breakfast. I'll bring
some up and then we can get to the ceremony okay?"
I nod, but grab my mates arm tightly when he sits up to leave.
A small chuckle escapes Axe's mouth and he gives me a deep kiss before trying to pull away
again. Trying.
Yet again, my grip remains true and I yank him back down to curl up in his side. He's just so
damn comfortable.
"Baby?"
I groan and nuzzle my nose further into his side.
Without argue, he embraces me again and just when I think I've won a few more minutes...
Mason tumbles through the door with two plates of food.
"You know you don't have to yell through the mindlink? I can hear you just fine," he complains
to Axe who takes the plates and waves him off.
I end up leaning against Axe's sculpted chest while he drapes one arm over my stomach
possessively and uses the other to feed me bits of bacon and pancakes.
(Fun fact: this next part actually happened to me before I started writing)
"Can we watch fifty shades of grey tonight? I want to read the books after I get the gist off
screen."
I've been meaning to ask, but there just hasn't been a good time. Axe coughs lightly after hearing
my request and turns me on his lap so that I straddle him.
"Why do you want to watch it?"
I shrug. Everyone's been talking about it. I'm pretty interested in seeing what the big fuss is
about.
"I think it's going to have some really good insight on what it's like to be colorblind."
Axe laughs in small Bursts, clearly trying not to boom out in a snickering
fit.
"What?" I frown only for my mate to shake his head.
"It's not about a colorblind man baby."
I frown in confusion. What else could the title indicate? There's a tie and the wording is clear.
"It's not about a colorblind businessman?"
Axe drops his head on my breasts dramatically and wiggles his nose between the tops of them.
"No," he grumbles.
(End of what actually happened. Lesson: don't judge a book by it's cover.)
Placing a small kiss there, he looks at me with start eyes and says we can watch it tomorrow
anyway.
He says I'm in for a surprise.

The gown I'm wearing is a flowy white fabric, as is tradition, but it's A bit more unique. Large
red and burgundy roses pattern the soft dress just enough to keep it interesting.
"You look like an angel," Axe's deep voice compliments from behind me.
"You look like a surfer," I counter eyeing his shorts. Why do guys only walk around in shorts?
Its like they're allergic to pants and shirts.
It doesn't stop him from looking good though.
"Maybe I could teach you how to surf one day. For now, we need to get going. Everyone's
excited to meet their Luna."
And so, the ceremony went off without a hitch and Axe even had to set up a conjoined breakfast
for the next day so that everyone can get to know me better.
