They were seated in a booth in the back of the dining room. Once settled and orders placed, Tyler smiled at Ward, extended his leg under the table, and rubbed it against Ward’s. “God, I’m glad you’re home,” Tyler said in a low voice. “Me, too,” Ward responded, returning the pressure with his own leg.
