LYING on her side, Tati watched the sleeping woman beside her. A satisfied and proud smirk painted her thin lips. Keena was lying on her front but her face was facing Tati’s side of the bed. Her arms were on her side as she sleeps peacefully. Tati bit her lower lip to keep the smirk from forming. Her hand lifted. Her index finger traced the spine of the sleeping woman. Her digit stopped until it reached the lower back where the white sheets covered the skin. She was about to rise from the bed when an arm went to her middle. “Where do you think you’re going?” Keena’s throaty voice cut the silent room. She cleared the lump in her throat.
