Chapter XXI - The War

    Bea and Lopo who did not know that Zuonn really bring the Ghiglea people was shock to see him. Because of Zuonn's big body, the Ghiglea people were totally unseen from the front. Dorsky keeps drinking until some of it spilled from his mouth. That hot drink does not seem hot again if you saw how Dorsky drink it. He does not care about the hot and drink it like a mineral water.

    Bea and Lopo who was shock by Dorsky's uniform started to screaming unintentionally.

    “WITCH!!! OH MY GOD!!! WITCH!!! THEY'RE HERE!!!” They freaking out until Dorsky also jump out from his place because shock to heard them. He stuttered and let the coconut shell slip from his hand.

    Suddenly, everyone near them looked at Bea and Lopo who still screaming and pointed Dorsky. They also shocked to see the white clothes he wears because they recognize it. A chaos happened as the scream and the panic quickly get over to all of Sororice. Everyone starting to take everything near them to throw at Ghiglea citizen and some of them were running to all places especially the women and children.

    Lucas was surprised to see how they react exactly same as Misty said. Even they have not doing anything yet, the Sororice people started to defend themselves. Misty who hold her gun all the time finally took her gun and pointed at them. Lucas widened his eyes when see her want to fire it.

    “Misty!!! Stop!!! Don't do that!!!” Lucas screaming so loud to stop her. Misty's attention was distracted by Lucas's voice and she looked into him quickly. They did not know there is a big stone was throwing at them. One of the Sororice people already throw their stone.

    BUK!!!

    Lucas fell down to the ground as a stone hit his back head. He started to feel so dizzy and confused about what just had happened. Misty was screaming when see him face down to the ground. Omerice quickly running to hide behind the trees with the others. Dorksy with his fat body, also want to escape from the rain stone but he barely hard to run.

    Some of the stones also hit Lucas's back and he frowning in pain. Luckily, the stones were not the big one so the pain is not same as the pain in his back head. Lucas trying to get up but his head still dizzy and everything he seen seems to be spinning around and blurred.

    He stood unsteadily and small stones keeps hitting him. This is really a chaos. He could hear everyone screaming and attacking them. Their voices echoed in his ears.

    BUK!

    Another stone hit his left arm and Lucas lost his balance. He kneels at the ground and grimacing in pain. He slowly looks at his arm and saw a scratch started to bleeding. The stone a bit sharp until it cut his skin. His clothes even torn apart in everywhere.

    He really did not expect this to be happened. He got hit before he could explain all of things he had planned. Another stone hit his forehead and the pain makes Lucas realize that it is really not a dream. The pain makes his head freezing as he lied down on the ground. He could not think anything and just listened to the war voices. Lucas did not know how long he has been dazed like that while the snow fell down into him.

    How about Misty? Omerice? Abelineq? Dorsky? Leynwee? Oh, come on Lucas... you don't have a time to worry about others. You just need to worry yourself that still get hitting by the rain stone! Lucas heart said that to himself.

    He wants to get up for the second time again. But, before he can do that, a loud voice makes his head dizzier than before.

    “SILENCE!!! STOP THROWING THE STONES!!!”

    Everyone were stunned to hear Zuonn shouting so loud like that. They were freeze in their place and looked at Zuonn's face who also get hit by the stones. He stands up with Lucas so he also getting hit. Lucas breath in relief as Zuonn save them from the rain stone. Zuonn got some scratches at his face and it also bleeding even not so much like Lucas.

    “Zuonn! Are you in their side???” a man who still holding a big stone glare at him. Zuonn did not scared at all.

“I was the one who bring them here! And of course there's a reason!” he replied them firmly.

    No one dare to protest what he just has said. But, Lucas can see they have confused and feeling betrayed on their faces. Zuonn turned his head to look at Ghiglea people. They still hiding behind the trees and just take a peek at them.

“It's alright. You can get out from there,” he said with calmly and shrug his head to asked them out from the trees.

    Lucas looked at them and realize that Misty already joined them to hiding. He started to stand up again as his wound not so painful again. Omerice and the others looked so worried to believe Zuonn's words. They keep turning their eyes from Zuonn into the Sororice people. Most of them still holding stones.

    Zuonn looked at their gaze and he looked back into his people. He frowned his forehead and said, “Put down the stones. You make them afraid.”

    Amazingly, they are obeying his words. Slowly, they put the stones back to the ground one by one. But, Lucas still can see they are keep their guards on. Zuonn also see that too.

“Don't worry. They are not dangerous. What could they do with their tiny body to attack us?” Zuonn a bit laugh as he tried to melted the war effect but he got his point.

“But, I saw them pointed their gun to us!” one of them yelled and the others agreed him.

“I do that because all of you were attacking us! It's just for our defense! But, I'm not shoot you!” Misty suddenly replied them with bravely.

    The Sororice people cannot argue with her. Misty was right because she pointed her gun when the rain stone happened and there's no sound of bullet fired at the war. Zuonn raised one of his eyebrows and he look at his people.

“See? You better listen first before acting on your own,” he said the wise words that make Lucas want to clap for him.
