A letter to Elizabeth.

Chapter 2

Eliza smile and thought it was a cute coincidence and someone just put the letter there on purpose for more attraction. She shrugged that thought off and continued reading.

'To my beloved Eli

It's been five weeks and counting and I'm still missing you. Your beautiful brown orbs that captivates my heart, you wavy brown hair, your red plum lips and your beautiful soul. I've been wanting to see since the last time we met but here I am sitting in a prison cell because of unknown reason.

Eliza felt a sudden sadness while reading the Letter, the words were piercing her heart as if she was the same Eli whose pertaining in the letter.

'I miss your beautiful smile, and your funny personality. I wish that could see that again but here I am sitting on this wooden chair writing a letter that I myself don't know if you can still read it. My sentence is almost near, I might lose my life but I'm happy to meet such an amazing woman named Eliza Rodeen Santos. So far this is all that I can say, I don't want you to know how hard it was in here but I'm trying to survive hoping one day I'll meet you again. '

Eliza thought that she's just sweating but it was her tears, she's crying. The letter is piercing her heart like a knife slowly digging on her chest.

"That is so sad...." Eliza whispered and carefully fold the paper and out it on the bedside table, Eliza looks at the ceiling wondering how Eliza on the letter looks like. With that thought she fell asleep and woke up the next morning.

She has this weird dream, a man's face is blurred in her dream. He has this old outfit like it was from the past. He has this mascular build, tall and she bet he's a fine handsome young men. Eli blush at what she is thinking, she immediately jump off the bed and went to the bathroom. After taking a bath she decided to have a breakfast in the hotels cafeteria. She took a pouch egg and bacon pairing it with fired rice, she indulge the food not noticing people looking at her. After eating she went back to her hotel room to sleep but she can't, so she immediately jump off the bed wear her hoodie under the scorching sun and went of the hotel. She decided to went to this famous museum, according to research history is inside that museum, it was her first time getting curious about history that she decided to try and see.

"50 pesos ticket." The woman hand her the ticket in exchange for fee. Eli walk towards the entrance and gave the security her ticket, it was almost nine Am but numerous tourist are already inside the museum. Eli walk past those beautiful paintings and sculpture, they even have this gigantic stone were soldiers name is written on it. They say that it was an appreciation for the fallen soldier for almost 80 years ago.

"They are really heroes..."

"In deed."

Eliza's head automatically swayed when she heard a voice from her behind. It was a tall young handsome man standing behind her wearing a glasses and a hoodie. She can't see his eyes but she knew that this man is a one fine man.

"Excuse me?"

The man glance on her then he smile, slowly he took the eye glasses off that made her gasped.

"Do I look like someone from the past? I get that a lot." He said chuckling.

"No, you are just handsome."

The man was flustered her chuckled turn into a beautiful smile that made her heart pound.

"I'm Niccolo..."

Eli looks at the man's hand and smile. She gladly took it and shake his hand.

"Eli..."

"Nice name."

"Thanks it's actually Elizabeth, pretty common right?"

Niccolo chuckled then he shook his head.

"It's beautiful..."

Eli's face flushed. Silence invaded their space, people will past through them but they won't mind as if they are the only one whose in the museum.

"So, are you a tourist or do you reside here?"

Niccolo glance on her, she can feel it the stare his giving but it's not creepy at all.

"I'm a resident here." He said. "Want a tour?"

"No, I can handle."

Niccolo chuckled.

"Don't worry I'm not a bad guy, I'll just tour you around the museum if that is okay?"

Eli sighed, she looks around this gigantic museum that she is unfamiliar with.

"Fine... Just in here."

The stranger plastered a satisfied smile.

"Cool, follow me."

Eli followed her hesitantly.

"There is this one room that only VIP people can come, the museum is open for public but that room is just for the people who you know, can afford the bill."

"Really? Did you get inside?"

Niccolo chuckled.

"No, I don't have that kind of money. I'll just buy it for street children or someone who really needs it."

A smile appeared on Eli's lips.

"Can you tell me more?"

"I'll be glad too." He said chuckling, "that is my job by the way."

"Really? So you gonna charge me for the tour?" She said amuse.

"No, It's free of charge."

Eli's heart skip a bit when he suddenly wink o.n her, she immediately shook that feelings off. She can't feel it that way, she's getting married. She and Nexus just had an argument but it doesn't mean that she can cheat.

"This museum was burned down 10 years ago, I was just fifteen back then. And the only room that survived that fire is that 2000 dollar room, it's indestructible.

"2000 dollar?!"

"See you freak out too." He said chuckling. "They said that the room is worth that money, I don't know. I just don't like spending that much even if it is worth it."

"I can spend for that." She said after all she travels for a reason and that is her happiness. "Where should I buy a ticket?"

"Oh it's just once a year, it should be open next month."

Eli pout, she just book a week of vacation. She won't be able to get inside that hidden room.

"That sucks!"

Niccolo glance on her then he smile.

"Why would you spend that kind of money?"

"Because I can afford it. " She said in a bored tone.

"Hmm... That's interesting. Anyways after the building was torn down, a picture of a man named Niccolo Delo Santos was burned down together with the museum."

Eli looks at him not saying a word.

"I was named after him." He said chuckling. "They said that I look exactly like him but I don't believe it not till I see my picture itself but the last portrait was burned down."

Eli looks amaze to what he just said. The curiosity is really killing her right now.

"I also get those weird stares wherever I am, so does it mean I also have a doppelganger here?"

" I don't know but it's possible..."

Eli went pale.

"I'm just kidding..."
