**Ciara’s POV**
I hastily picked out a blue flowery dress from an unpacked box and styled my wild hair into a messy bohemian bun.
Also, I applied mascara and lip gloss before staring in the mirror, and when I was satisfied with how I looked, I strode downstairs to find them all prepared and waiting for me in the living room.
“I’m sorry, I’m late,” I said as soon as I joined them, earning myself displeased grunts from dad and Jessie while mom only nodded with a small smile on her face.
I ignored their grumpiness and proceeded to walk out the door. I didn’t know my way to the Alpha’s palace or wherever it was that we were going, I just decided to stay out, to be away from them before they succeeded in ruining my mood.

We walked into the magnificent palace a few minutes later and couldn’t help ourselves but stare openly at the vast show off of wealth.
Like I said earlier, it was magnificent. It had high white walls with golden decor and very wide ceilings that had really beautiful murals painted across them.
From the middle of the ceiling hung a massive chandelier that looked so ginormous, it could easily pass for a light monster at night.
I gaped openly at the house, wishing I would one day live in a place like this, and was so engrossed in its beauty that I lost my footing on the stairs and fell.
I grabbed desperately onto the railing but I wasn’t fast enough to regain my footing, and just as I was about to land face down on the floor, I felt someone’s hands catch me, wrapping around me in a grip as tight as that of a vice.
As soon as the person's hand came in contact with my skin, I shivered involuntarily because the touch made tiny sparks run up the length of my body, making me feel suddenly cold and hot at the same time.
I looked up briefly to thank the person but the words caught in my throat.
He was the guy from very early this morning and the same guy from later this morning. The one I had caught staring at me through my window ever since I arrived here.
“Cat got your tongue?” Dad snarled, throwing a disgusted look my way, “Fúcking apologize, you almost ruined his clothes!”
I bowed my head slowly, suddenly feeling extremely embarrassed at myself and my father.
I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me, just to get myself out of this unfortunate situation but as usual, my wish didn’t come to pass.
I heard a fake cough, looking up I realized it was from Jessie, and that she was staring pointedly at me with her eyebrows raised. I immediately took her cue and apologized quickly to the stranger for being clumsy.
“It’s fine sugar, you do not have to apologize at all.” He said with a small laugh, walking in front of us to lead us into the Royal room, or whatever it was called.
Immediately we got to the room, he plopped down on the throne smiling at us as he said. “Welcome to my pack, Mr and Missus Barlowe.”
I gasped. I heard Jessie gasp as well, and could tell that she was just as stunned as I was that this handsome youngster was the Alpha of this pack.
I heard him talk directly to father, but from where I sat I could feel his dark brooding eyes on my face, never wavering.
I shifted uncomfortably on the chair, expecting him to look away, but he didn’t. I looked up at him to notice a smug smile on His face as his eyes seemed to drill holes into my face and body, making it quite impossible for me to fully concentrate on their conversation.
Just as I was about to say something, to ask him about seeing him from my window earlier today, another person walked into the room to go sit beside him on a decorated high chair close to the throne.
“I’m sorry, I’m late.” He said in his deep baritone voice, staring at me as he spoke.
Goodness.
I let out another inaudible gasp not only because he was also breathtakingly handsome but also because he looked exactly like the guy on the throne.
They had the same features and there was nothing to use in telling them apart.
“I am Prince Nathan Hemsworth, the twin brother to Alpha Ethan Hemsworth.” He introduced curtly, sitting down.
I could see the look of shock on the faces of every member of my family, and also the satisfactory grins on the faces of the Alpha and his brother. The atmosphere was so tense, you could actually feel it choking you.
I could no longer bring myself to ask the Alpha about what I wanted to do because now I was a little too confused. I couldn’t tell which of the brothers I had seen earlier today, and couldn’t fool myself by asking a question as stupid as that in front of my parents.
I simply sank deeper into my chair, praying fervently in my mind that this meeting would come to an end while I fiddled with my fingers to distract me from the nasty thoughts I was having about them.
Despite not seeing them, I felt their eyes on me, drilling holes as though they could see into my very soul.

The meeting came to an end after about an hour or so, and immediately after dad and the twins said their goodbyes, I literally sprinted out of the palace like there was a beast after me.
Maybe there was. A twin beast…
I noticed how my sister watched my every movement quizzically, practically throwing questions at me with her eyes.
In a normal situation, I should have told her and confided in her as most sisters do, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t bring myself to say a word of it to her because we did not have the kind of relationship that most sisters had.
I ignored her, ignored my father's puzzled stares too as I literally ran to our house. As soon as I got into our house, I sprinted into my room as well, discarding every piece of clothing on my body as I went.
The day sped past in a blur after that, and I spent the rest of the day sprawled on my room's floor, thinking about the strange events of the day, and of the twins that were quickly making my life a living hell.
A wolf's howl in the distance caught my attention, and I instinctively went to the window to have a peek. It was the night of the full moon, and I watched in awe as the massive moon shone in the darkness, illuminating the entire compound.
A shuffling among the shrubs caught my attention, and out of curiosity, I peered to check.
Between the tall shrubs stood an extremely good-looking guy, his mesmerizing greyish eyes caught my attention, and they stood out in the darkness. Immediately I caught sight of him, I ducked, lying flat on my room's floor.
He had seen me, I know. But the fact remained that he made me uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure which of the twins he was, but I knew he was one of the
