The last place I wanted to be was anywhere Diablo was but as the day turned into weeks , he seemed to pop up more and more often.
And after Sarah had left he had been pretty much everywhere I had been if I hadn’t been in the house. If I didn’t know better I would have said he was following me, keeping his eye on me but I knew better.
He didn’t talk to me. He barely even looked at me. And there was always some club girl hanging off his arm. Not that I hung around to watch. But it got to the point that I couldn’t be anywhere without him showing up with some bimbo on his arm.
So I just stopped going out.
Home and work. And then back again.
That’s all I did, over and over again.
