Several more days have passed and I found myself drinking more coffee and eating more pastries than I should have. I keep coming at different time during the day but I never seem to run into her. I kept coming everyday until Johnson managed to stop me when I kind of laid back on my responsibilities as an Alpha.
"I know she's your mate and everything, but you're kind of forgetting you have a pack to take care of." he scolded.
"I just want to see her again." I groaned as I ruffled my hair in frustration.
"I know you do, but you're our Alpha. I get that she's your mate and everything but . Maybe we could start working something out?" he offered.
"She hasn't shown up in weeks, Johnson. Jax is getting frustrated, he wants his mate and we haven't seen her in so long." I frowned.
Johnson was quiet after a while and then suddenly he looked at me as if he had another one of his stupid ideas. I immediately scrunched my face at the thought of what he could be thinking.
"What now?" I grumbled.
"I promise it's not stupid." he promised.
"No, I swear it's going to be one of your stupid plans again and you're eventually just going to rope me into it and I'd have no choice but to go with it." I rolled my eyes.
"Come on! Do you not want to be with your mate?" he demanded.
"I do but I hate your ideas. I can promise to listen but I'm not going to promise you anything else." I frowned.
Johnson then went on a state he gets on when he explains his 'brilliant' ideas. Only this time, it could actually be brilliant. He proposes that I should buy a property closer to my mate. Judging by her appearance she could be in college, but first we would have to find out which college she goes to. Increasing the chances of running into my mate every time might just increase the chances of her wanting me.
He also proposed that I should have at least a couple of people living with me, but when he means a couple he means around 10 people and that might be a little too overwhelming for my mate to handle. That is thinking she would come visit me at home.
"I'd rather not have anyone from the pack to be honest. Maybe find me an Omega who would be willing to maintain the house. If possible no females, I don't want her to get jealous that I live with a female. Make sure the Omega gets paid a lot." I instructed.
"Of course, Alpha." he smiled widely clearly happy that I liked his plan.
"Don't give me that face. You know this is just for my mate, and I am pretty desperate. Oh, and do get me some witches to work on the door. I would want to be able to go to her and the pack. Make sure only you, the Deltas, and me would be able to access the door. I don't want anybody else barging in." I instructed further.
"Yes, Alpha. I'll also send out some people to find out which college she goes to and as soon as we find out we'll get the rest of the plan ready." he smiled.
I murmured a thanks in response.
A couple more weeks have passed and Johnson has finally found her, and has taken care of everything including the house. It was hard to busy myself with pack work when my mind is getting plagued with thoughts about her. I couldn't get my mind off of her. She was all I could ever think about.
The following day, I packed my things and moved in to the house. The front door was connected to the office door which would make it easier for me to go back and forth. The witches have deicded that I should be the only who gets access to the door just in case we get betrayed. In the middle of the move, I was greeted by one of our Omegas.
"Good morning, Alpha. My name is Asher and I will be serving you until the time being." he said as bowed lowly, exposing the back of his neck.
"Hello Asher, it is always a pleasure to be working with Omegas." I smiled.
"Of course, sir. Would sir care for a cup of tea?" he offered.
"Coffee is fine. Fix yourself a cup if you want one as well. We could sit out by the porch and discuss matters in terms of our stay." I said.
"Yes, Alpha." he bowed.
"Ah, don't call me Alpha while we're doing this. She's human and probably doesn't know that werewolves exist. She might find it weird for you to be calling me Alpha." I said.
He nodded and bowed before heading into the kitchen, I headed out to the porch and everything was so beautiful. The view was good, just the right amount of city and greenery. Even the garden of this house is exquisite. I wonder if the previous owners did all this or if Johnson had everything set like this. Even the furniture inside the house seemed antique yet unique. Not totally antique tho, it's antique yet it has a modern touch to it.
If Angelica isn't in to this idea then it would be for the best for me to do minor renovations here and there just so she would feel nice in the plave she was going to live at.
A couple of minutes have passed and Asher arrives with two mugs of coffee and sits beside me. We spent majority of the day talking about how our set up was going to be, and everything else in between all that. Hopefully, Angelica would be able to feel the things that I feell for her as well. I want to be able to wake up every morning and her face wouldbe the first thing I see.
