CHAPTER THIRTEEN “I wouldn’t have come here if it wasn’t important,” Ros assured him as he guided me over to the table and drew out a chair for me. I smiled at him as I took a seat, and he scooted a chair up to sit beside me. “We need all the information you have about the prophecy of the familiar.” Chronos lifted an eyebrow. “Why that matter in particular?” Ros used one hand to gesture at me. “Kate is a familiar.” Chronos looked me over before he turned his nose up and scoffed. “You will have to prove that statement to me.” My eyebrows crashed down and I opened my mouth, but a look of warning from Ros made me back down. He returned his own perceptive eyes to the strange man before us. “How do we know the exhibition will be worth it? Maybe all your library has is another copy
