I managed to convince Carter to spend the night and was able to use the sleepover with my brother as an excuse to not have to spend the night with Damian since I really didn’t want to deal with him. I set up one of the spare rooms on the first floor for Carter and me, bringing extra blankets and pillows down from my room when Damian wasn't around. Amber brought two plates of food for both of us at my request, and after we finished eating, I locked us away in the room so we could spend the night, just the two of us without any interruptions.
