A chosen mate

I quickly put on some clothes of mine. Just in time because my dad enters my room. I recognize him from his scent. Good to be half a wolf because of the ability and to be in someone else's body. Venus always protects me even from my parents getting busted. I put on my innocent face because I am sure to be a daddy's daughter.

"Hey, daddy. What can I do for you?"-I ask and look at him with my hands on my hips.

"Well, I and your mom want to talk about some important thing."-He answers and I wonder what that can be. But to my surprise, my mom also steps into my room and closes the door behind her.

"Val, honey we want to talk with you about the future."-She says and walks to my dad and intertwines their hands. This must be something serious.

"We had a meeting and we discussed your situation."-My dad starts and I knot my eyebrows together.

"My situation? What are you talking about?"-My mom has guilty eyes like my dad too.

"Your situation because you're unmated. We want the best for you and we know you're strong alone also but we want a partner by your side."-My dad suddenly blurts out.

"What? I don't understand you. We are the strongest pack. I graduated from University with the best in my class. I can beat anyone in this pack. But you want a mate for me? How?"-I feel my anger rise. There is so much pressure to be the oldest but this is not good.

"Honey at the age you're now I already had you. I know how it feels alone and if you can share everything with someone that is the best feeling in the world. Your dad is not just my mate but my best friend also."-She talks about it with so much love in her voice and when they look at each other I can see the sparks in their eyes.

"So what do you suggest? I choose a man who I am friends with?"

"Not really. How about we choose from some bigger ranked wolves from other packs? Maybe Alphas and Betas? This way your bloodline will stay strong and he also can protect you and your pack. Your kids will be as strong as their mother."-My mom suggests but I can feel the discomfort in her voice also.

"But it is not the same as a fated mate. You and dad are fated mates and see how good you two can work together. What if I choose the wrong one and I need to be by his side because he marked me already? I want to love also not just stay with someone who I don't love."-I answer them and watch their reaction. The realization hit them and they understand me now.

"We understand, Val. But we also want the future for the pack. The council decided that we give you some time and get comfortable with the idea. You can date and do whatever you want but when you turn 24 you need to choose a mate for you and the pack."-My dad speaks and it breaks my heart a little. I know how much he loves but I never imagined that they would push me into this madness.

"Fine, I will think about it. Mom, you can help me with the possible candidates. I choose them. If he is ugly or a player no matter if he is an Alpha he is out of this competition. I don't want a bad reputation for my future pack."-I answer them and they nod to me ready to leave.

"Fine, we agree, honey. I don't want an ugly son-in-law for my grandkids. I will help you no matter how long it takes to find the perfect one."-My mom let go of my dad's hand and walks in my direction. She hugs me like she always does with her warm mother hug and I feel relief. Suddenly another idea pops into my mind. I pull away from her and look at both of my parents.

"Before I start this man chasing game I want to travel for a while. I have never seen anything much, only the pack and the university which is not far from here. I want to visit other countries and learn something about them."-I tell them and wait for their reaction. They look at each other and they might be mind-link to each other to discuss my wish.

"Sure. It's fair. You're young and you need to experience more in your life. We understand your wish and tell the council also. I am so proud of you. You grew up and I am so happy to be your dad."-He speaks up and he scoops me and my mom for a group hug. I love them so much and my siblings too. After they leave my room, I dig into my laptop for some destination I want to visit. After a while, my door opens without knocking and with a strong force. I don't need to look at who it is because I feel the scent and anger from his body.

"Is it true?"-He asks but I don't turn in his direction.

"Is it true what?"-I ask back naturally.

"That you're leaving the pack for a while. They even talk about a chosen mate also. Valeria, please tell me it is not true."-His anger decreases and changes to a worried tone.

"Yes, it is true. I need to choose a mate but before I can have some freedom and travel the world. I won't be away long. You just blink and I will be back. I need you by my side when I have to choose a mate."-A low growl escapes from his mouth. He might be a little possessive for me.

"I know how much you want to travel the world but to choose a mate for you is too much. What is the expectation for your future mate?"-He asks suddenly and it surprises me. He sits on my desk near my laptop and looks down at me.

"Well he needs to be an Alpha or Beta and he needs to be good looking also. That is what they told me. I am very picky so he needs to grow some balls. For the sake of my future kids, he needs to look good and strong to protect me and my pack."-I turn my gaze from the screen and look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"I see. When are you leaving us?"-He asks with sadness in his voice.

"I want to leave after my birthday. I'm looking for plane tickets already. I want to see other lands than just ours. Do you know some good locations which might be good for me?"-I ask and he suddenly changes to very exciting and suggests to me some good locations. We talked for a while about my trip and I am glad we are good friends again. When I see some romantic places it reminds me that I am alone but soon Troy's lips comfort me that he is always here for me. We lock the door so nobody would disturb us. Our kiss became heavy and we ended up on my bed giving each other pleasure with our mouths. 69 is a very good pose so our moans are not as loud because both of our mouths are full with each other. We eat some dinner after this because both of us become hungry. I love that because we are half wolves we don't need much work out to stay in this perfect shape of the body. When Both of us feel full he stands up from the bed and pecks my lips.

"Sweet dreams, Val. I can't wait for your birthday. I have the perfect gift for you."-He winks at me to tease me because he knows I can't wait to see my present.

"Don't do this with me. You know how much I can't wait to see it. Please let me know."-I beg for him but he never gives me the answer.

"Nope. Come on, it's just two days. It's not a long time until then you can have me."-His smile almost reaches his ear.

"You know you're not really behaving respectfully towards your future Luna. If you keep doing this you might earn some punishment."-I whisper the last sentence into his ear and bite a little into his earlobe. This earns him a groan and I am glad to hear it.

"Don't start this, Val, or I might take you hard in your bed and our parents will hear your screams for sure."-His turn down his voice, and his eyes are shining so his wolf is close to the surface. Tytus is horny as Venus. They both like two teens who can't get enough from each other.

"You're so bad. Leave my room before I send you to the dungeon because you were disrespectful to your Luna."-I warn him but he just laughs about it. I try to grab him but he suddenly runs away but his laugh is heard in the corridor.

"So slow, Val. Try to catch me if you can."-What a j*rk and he is my best friend. I let him go this time but next time I will catch him.

After I head to my mom's office to learn some Luna stuff. I still have some hours before I head to bed. She is an amazing mom and teacher also. I can't be enough grateful to the Moon Goddess that she is my mom. My sibling is also the best, just sometimes too noisy but I love them. I thank my mom for the lessons and say our goodbyes. She goes to my sibling's room for a goodbye kiss with my dad following her. They are the best parents ever. I want a love like they have for each other. I wonder how they behaved when they first met. I know they hide some details but still, they are cute when they talk about it. I go to take a shower and then put my pj's on. Soon my dreams come and I find myself at the same beach as last night. That voice is like a magnet to me. He is like an angel singing my name over and over. I wonder if he is real or he is just my imagination.
