6. The Watcher

Tuesday, May 17, 9:45 a.m. - Tucker Kahn -     "I guess, the inspector is on his way to the sight and they need you there by noon," my little sister, Tabitha, informs me before heading into the office.   I stop my movements when I see the familiar ink-black hair that belongs to Aurora, Dominic's mysterious daughter who just moved into town, make her way to the front entrance of my construction company's main office. I had the pleasure of meeting her the other day when I helped Dominic fix her car.   She appears to be quiet and out of place here in Tennessee. Maybe it's because she's new around here, but I can't seem to keep my eyes off of her. When I walked into the kitchen in her dad's house and saw her standing there, a need to learn more about her overwhelmed me. She's the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen.   I shake the thoughts of Aurora out of my head and continue to my truck. I'm meeting my brothers, Alec, Finley, and Thaddeus, at one of our latest projects about thirty minutes away in Pigeon Forge. I guess you could say my parents have a unique taste in names.   My phone rings on the way there, but I ignore it and turn up the radio. I wonder how Dominic would feel if I were interested in his daughter.
