Five Years Later
Emile
I was sword fighting with Zack, I trained him because I planned to legitimize him which is a stepping stone to making him the heir to the throne, I was getting pushed back because of who his mother was and I understood, I saw her watching us on the sidelines, she has been visiting for a week and I loved seeing her happy. Zack also loves the arts, he sculpts and paints, and he is also very good at it, Dai is waiting to spar with him. My mother loves her grandkids and it filled a void she lost with our father, I have court today because it would seem a few lords have asked me for my mother's hand in marriage. This would be a political marriage, of course, it would benefit our Kingdom in the end, plus, I owe the Orcs a marriage since I killed my uncle. My mother knows about it, but I won't force her if she disagrees.
I told Zack to take a break and he smiled and hugged me before running off with Dai, Dai is older by a few years but they took to each other and became best friends. I got some water from the servant and turned to see Lamira smiling, I walked over to her, sat beside her, and asked, "How was shopping today?" She explained she got a few things to go back home with her, I made sure I covered everything, and she is living a soft life with the best things available. Malric has become her guard and stays with her at the cottage. I needed to clean up before I headed to the throne room, so I nodded for her to walk with me, she said, "Zack is growing up good here, thank you, Emile." I smiled and asked, "What did you expect? Did you think I would cut you out of his life or kill you?"
I looked directly into her eyes as she backed up to the wall, she stuttered, "IIII know you were angry with me and my father warned me about the guard who killed him." I leaned over and placed my hand next to her head and said, "I could never hurt you Lamira, I was angry, yes, you slept with that traitor and if you had seen it from my end, you would be pissed too. I admit I handled what we had between us badly, I threw away everything we had built because of my anger but you broke my heart." I leaned my forehead against hers and breathed her in, she said, "I am sorry, I should have told you about, Zack, I was scared," I didn't know what happened but I kissed her and she kissed back. My guards down the hall turn away as she moans, I kiss down her neck, and she says, "Stop, Emile, Eva."
I rubbed my thumb across her breasts and she said, "Emile, we can't, you have someone, we can't do this," I stopped, and breathed in her neck taking in her sweet scent. She was right, I was with, Eva and I had to control my hard-on for the woman I had loved for so long because our chapter had ended. I looked up the hall to see Eva watching us as she turned away, I said, "f**k," I offered to walk her back but she said, "No, you need to go make things right with her," as she walked in the other direction, I link my guard to escort her and head to go find Eva. Eva was hiding out in a spare bedroom and I knocked on the door, she didn't answer but I walked in and saw her standing and looking out the window. I said, "Eva," she turned around after wiping her tears and smiled saying, "Hey, I was about to go eat, do you want something?"
I shook my head 'no' and slowly walked towards her, she said, "Okay," trying to walk past me but I stopped her and said, "Let me explain." She said, "No need, you are King, you can have whoever you want in your bed, plus, she is the mother of your son," I knew she was hurt but was trying to act brave. I whispered, "I am sorry," next to her ear, she said, "It's fine, I was just some servant girl who got into your bed, I should know better than to fall in love with the King." She went to walk away again, I stopped her and said, "It's not like that," she tried to hide her anger and said, "You have been stringing me along for years, you won't commit to me and I know now it's because of her." I pulled her into a hug and she pushed me off saying, "I won't do this anymore, now just leave me alone," I walked up to her and said, "Eva, I know things have been complicated but it's not what you think."
She looked at me and I said, "I love you," she sighed and said, "Then mate me, why is it so hard for you to mate me?" I said, "I am not ready, Eva," she sighed and I pulled her back, she punched me in the face as I taught her, I grabbed her throat and we started kissing ending up on the bed. We tore each other's clothes off and before I knew it, I was burying my c**k between her legs, it was intense as I felt her nails on my back scratching me, we kissed as she moaned, "I hate you." I got up after Emile left, cleaned up, and decided I would not lose him, I love him too much, so I decided to go for a walk and ended up where Lady Lamira was staying for the week. I loved Zack, he was a great kid but he was not my kid and I needed to get pregnant, I have been trying for a while but nothing has happened. I heard a knock on the door and saw Angie with the special tea and I knew Emile sent it, he was making sure he didn't get me pregnant and I drank the tea because she wouldn't leave until I did. She left and I headed out to find Lamira, she was in the garden like clockwork, I told the guard, "Leave us," he bowed and gave us space, she smiled and continued admiring the flowers. I said, "We need to talk," she said, "Of course we do, how can I help?" I said, "I need you to stay away from, Emile, it is over between you two, stop trying to win him back, I won't let it happen."
She said, "I am not here to win him back, if he wanted me, don't you think we would be together already? He is the King, Eva, if you have trust issues with your relationship, it has nothing to do with me. However, I apologize for earlier, it just happened and it won't happen again," my anger was brewing and I slapped her so hard she held her jaw. I said, "You better don't let it happen again you common w***e, he is mine and you stay away from him, or I will make sure he mates you off," I turned around leaving her holding her face as her eyes clouded with tears. Later, I headed down to meet Emile for dinner, he smiled and I could see that he was tired, he kissed my lips and we sat to eat. We talked about decisions made about mating his mother and I smiled saying, "Hey speaking of mating, I want to make it up to you and maybe find Lamira a suitable mate so she can start a family."
Emile put the fork down and looked at me, I was nervous and smiled sweetly, he asked, "Is this about today, Eva?" I said, "I won't lie, today stung, but I know you love me, I think it's not fair to her seeing you move on, so a mate and finding happiness will help, plus, you guys still co-parent, Zack." He looked at me and said, "I will think about it, I don't think she is ready," I said, "It's been ten years, Emile, and you are not going back to her, mate her off, I mean it." I kissed his lips and left, he sat there silently and I knew he would do as I asked, as he always does, I had to speed up the process of him making me his Queen. I walked down the hall and saw Lamira talking with her guard, I hid behind the pillar, they seemed to be in a heated argument and it gave me an idea, they live together, so why not mate them?

Lamira
After what happened today, I was furious, I couldn't believe she hit me, and hitting her back was a no-no, she was seen as the Queen in everyone's eyes. The Kingdom respects her and has accepted her, even his mother Queen Evangelina is quite fond of her, I admit being around Emile has been stirring up feelings I thought were buried but the truth is, I never got over him, he was and still is my first love. Malric walked towards me and I walked away, I wasn't ready to face what happened, he pulled me back and said, "You really shouldn't piss her off, you are no longer with the King unless you want to be his mistress." I pulled my hand away from him knowing he was right, am I willing to be Emile's mistress because I love him so much? He said, "I didn't mean it like that, I hate to see you suffer in silence these past few years, you don't need to shun yourself away never expecting to find love again." He was right but I wasn't ready to hear it, I will never give my heart to another as I walked away from him.
