#19 The Unwanted Wolf

1779 Words
Riven was getting mad. He felt incompetent and frustrated when he could not find Ella, even after looking everywhere that was under the perimeter of the competition. He was worried that Levi had already located her, or she had left the chase. He hoped for the latter. At least that way, Ella was still his. But his wolf was getting anxious. He was starting to give up hope when he saw Levi. Levi was whining about losing Ella at the eastern borders of the event. Loui was blaming him for failing to keep a lowly omega in control. Riven sighed with relief, wondering about where Ella could have gone. He ran towards the eastern border vehemently, picking up her familiar smell. He ran like crazy when he realized she had ventured into unsafe territory. Was she mad? Why would she do that? She could have left the event arena. Suddenly Ella felt more crucial to him than air, more than his existence. He used all his strength to follow her scent. It wasn't too strong, but he could still smell it. He growled with exhilaration when he could finally hear her faint sobs near the grand stone. His eyes sparkled, his wolf howling with joy. He ran towards the grand stone without losing one second. He couldn't believe someone could have such a far-reaching effect on him. So much for not wanting a woman in his life! Now he couldn't think of anything but her. He emerged from behind the bushes, engulfed with a happy and self-fulfilling feeling. But as soon as he showed up, Ella screamed crazily. He immediately shifted to his human form and rushed to her side, covering her mouth. He didn't want anyone to notice their presence, Levi or the traitor wolves. As soon as Riven engulfed Ella in his embrace, a warm feeling soaked her body, making all her worries vanish into thin air. Riven closed his eyes in satisfaction. His restless heart was finally becoming normal. Ella was the most incredible woman he had met. He had never felt so euphoric in anyone's presence before. He wondered how other wolves did not get attracted to her. Their loss was his gain. Under the moonlight, Ella looked like a goddess, her pale skin glistening, making her look glorious. She looked at him with her big, emotionally charged eyes. Her purple eyes gleamed like amethysts, her long curly hair flowing like fire under the red moon. She was like fire and water, chaos in the wind. He had never believed in fairytales. Yet it was funny how he was becoming the prince charming of Ella's life. A smile rolled along his lips involuntarily as he stared at her plump and luscious lips. They looked like two rose petals begging to be kissed by him. He could not refrain from leaning toward her, enticed to share their first kiss. He had kissed many women. But his heart was never thumping crazily like then. She closed her eyes in anticipation, her heart pounding in her chest so hard that she felt it would explode any minute from now. She was going to have her first-ever kiss under the red moon. As he approached her lips, his eyes shut on their own. He had never closed his eyes while kissing someone. But it was different with Ella. Her warm deep breaths fanning his skin were intoxicating. Ella swallowed hard, breathing erratically as his lips moved from her forehead to her nose before brushing her lips. When his hot lips touched her, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling a flush of heat on her skin. As if her body had acknowledged Riven, she submitted immediately. A faint concern that Riven might ignore her after spending a night with her engulfed her. She pushed him, breathing heavily, shaking a little. She looked at him with confusion. Her head asked her to make a rational decision. It would be her first time. She shouldn't give up on a playboy's fantasies. But her heart had a mind of its own. They didn't want to judge Riven. Her heart was yearning for his tender, inviting lips. Before Ella could reach any conclusion, Riven's lips were already on hers. Sparks burst everywhere as tingles erupted wherever their skin touched. Neither of them could no longer compete against the attraction, especially Ella. Besides, this was her first kiss. She simply wanted to lose herself in it. The way his mouth felt on her made her feel euphoric. It was just the best first kiss. She wrapped her hands around his neck, parting her lips to give entrance to Riven. Riven's heart skipped a beat when Ella's lips welcomed him without resistance. He shoved his tongue inside her, melting in that soft kiss. He had never felt more complete and happier than what he was experiencing then. It was euphoric and unusual. It was like he was on cloud nine, ravishing the moment in a parallel world. All his apprehensions about love and life dissolved away, and he was a man kissing a woman he liked. He swirled his tongue inside her mouth, trying to evade every bit. But he was getting impatient, pressing his body closer to her. He was not able to get enough, no matter how much he deepened their kiss. He moved his tongue around in circles to claim her mouth and mark it as his. He had already deduced that Ella was an inexperienced kisser. Perhaps it was her first kiss. He gasped, breaking the kiss, panting for air at that sudden realization. He looked at her perky lips and dark eyes. Her purplish eyes were beaming. He wasn't sure if it was because of the moonlight or if they were really shimmering. He swallowed hard when his eyes again fell on her slightly parted lips. It made him lofty when the thought of teaching her everything and spoiling her crossed his mind. He felt like he could never tire out of that exhilarating feeling. It was beyond good. Ella tried hard to hold back, feeling the urge to pull him and continue the kiss. It was her first-ever kiss. She had only begun to acclimatize to the taste of it when Riven pulled away. She was worried that he wouldn't like it because she was inexperienced. But it was hard to reason then. She wanted to kiss him back and explore her wild side. It was frustrating for her when she couldn't do it. It scared her that she might do something wrong, something unnecessary and stupid that would end it all. The kiss was exalting. But much to her satisfaction, Riven pulled her again into a much more urgent, needy, rough kiss full of burning desire and steaming passion. Ella was experiencing a new feeling that made her continue the kiss, even if she was out of breath. They parted for air, looking at each other with hungry eyes. Riven claimed her lips again. This time he was more audacious and demanding. He wrapped one hand around her waist, and with the other, he cupped her cheek. In response to his tantalizing touch, Ella arched her back, moaning a little. He smirked, thrilled by her response. He could feel tingles making him go berserk from the inside. He liked it when he was convinced that she felt no less. Her reactions were not as fake as they were with other girls. Once Riven was satisfied with that longing, deep kiss, ravishing her mouth, biting her plump lips that would result in swelling, he upped the game. He was going to tease her into making a move of her own. He knew they both burned in an insatiable desire for each other's body. The passion was too pervasive for them to refuse or avoid it. He leaned his forehead against her, breathing against her cheeks. He raised her chin to face her lustful purple orbs. He let out a satisfied grin at what he saw when their eyes leveled up. He lured her by brushing his lips against hers to encourage her to take control. Riven was such a tease. Ella knew he was doing it purposefully. But it worked. His titillating gestures had set her body ablaze. The moment Riven drew her toward him with his broad arms, a volcano of need burst inside her, flowing like molten lava, setting her body on fire. She was hungry for his touch- his lips, body, and more. Ella could sense something more powerful than her driving her toward him. It was such a pull she could never deny its existence after experiencing it. The slack kiss was no longer enough for her. Plus, that moment of emptiness had created a hollow in her heart. She didn't even realize that Riven had stopped pressing his body against her and that she had started grinding herself at him. She wanted every barrier between them to vanish and to feel his hot skin against her naked body. There was neither disgrace nor guilt about what she was experiencing. She would never regret giving away her virginity to him. No one could make her feel so euphoric and complete. There was an urge to be with him, and that grew every second. Ella gripped his hair, wrapping his lips into a deeper kiss. Shortly, it was an intense battle of tongues to win for domination. Riven became increasingly daring, electrified by her movement. It was seducing him even more. His hand was now exploring her back above the thin cloth. Somewhere between the flood of passionate kisses and hugs, Ella discovered her wild side. It even got an upper edge when she began to unbutton his shirt. Before they knew it, his shirt fell to the ground between some fumbles and stutters and that kiss. Ella began exploring his bare torso liberally. They had not even felt satisfied with their kiss when they heard the signal indicating there was only a little time left before dawn. Suddenly, their bodies were charged up, craving for more. Riven severed the kiss and cursed under his breath. Why did it take him so long to find her? It was not enough. He gazed upon Ella in need and amusement. It baffled him to see her eyes were not only looking at him with lust, but they had so many other feelings for him. What astonished him was his own overwhelming emotions for her that made her feel suffocated. He picked up Ella and proceeded to the nearest empty shack. He needed to claim this unwanted wolf and make her his before the breaking dawn.
