“What do you mean that you haven’t found her yet?”
Gripping the phone tightly against my ear, I resist the urge to hurl it against the wall.
“We followed her trail all the way to the Eastern Howlers Pack, but then her scent disappears, and the trail goes cold. She must have started to use the spray at that point. So now we have no idea in which direction that she went, and we are spread too thin as we just guess where to head to next.”
“So then search all the directions!”
“We are…but she has a huge head start on us while we search dead ends. Pretty clever move really. Because now we are losing valuable time to close the distance. We need more help to be able to spread out further, cover a larger radius. Have you reconsidered reaching out to other Alpha’s…?”
