Don't look at her........ don't look at her....... don't look at her.... June chanted Infront of her secret crush April.
For all she knew was One Earth is round, Two Air is invisible and Three April is Straight. She felt April's cold attitude towards her right from her freshman year.
Sometimes she cursed the person at her Mom's baby shower who came up with such months name.....June........ which her mom happily agreed upon. Because of that everyone teased her with April , not that she mind but it distanced April farthest.
But tonight was different , they were playing spin the bottle in a party. It was their last year and last party before graduation so everyone decided to go wild. As bottle kept spinning it was either truth or dare.
To make game more interesting they suggested dare should be making out with the person Infront of you no matter what, easy peasy lemon squeazy they thought.
Embarrassing questions about relationships , s*x and dirty secrets were asked including crush , love and ex's . When bottle spun on April's direction here eyes widened. On the opposite side of bottle was equally shocked June sweating her ass out.
April was very reserved introvert person. Besides her best friend Claire she never opened up with any other person. Every eyes shined as they were all excited to know some secret of school's infamous ice nerd but April wasn't letting her guard down.
She stood up abruptly saying 'f**k this game' but drunken teenagers and her classmates didn't bought her excuse. They all carried her and june inside a room, locking sworn enemies together. April banged the door in anger making june flinch.
'She might kill me with few punches if that's how she bangs a door' June thought in her head. Her heart beating faster than a racing horse. "One kiss and You're Out girls, And don't you dare lie This room has cameras" Shouted their volleyball captain from opposite side of door.
She snapped her head towards june in anger raising her brows as in saying 'do something about this or you're dead' , June nodded her head in understanding and said "Come on Guys you shouldn't force someone to kiss like that , what if she's a bad kisser , what if she don't know how to kiss at all.... right ?" Said june near door.
There was no response from the other side "What did you say ......say that again" Said April with hint of annoyance. June didn't realized she offended April even more by her lame excuse to get door opened.
She tried to come up with something ..... anything......but her mouth felt dry , she couldn't utter a word. All she did was keep staring at April's adorable eyes. Although pissed she still looked gorgeous in June's eyes.
"You look Gorgeous when you're annoyed" blurted June out of blue. She covered her mouth with hands feeling even more embarrassed. April took slow steps towards her making june step back. When she was out of space to walk back she glued herself to wherever she could fit in.
"You like to make things difficult for me don't you ?? Tell me something ,are you really dumb or you try to pretend like one" she spat with venom in her voice. June's heart broke, hot tears blurred her vision.
She always admired April from far distance knowing there's no way she could ever have a chance with her.
"I'm sor... sorry.. I've always tried to stay away from you..i ..i..i swear. I know you hate me bu....but i always admired the person you're. This is our last year together and maybe last moment too so i take this moment to apologize...if I've ever hurt you any way I'm really very sorry April"
June apologize sobbing down. She knew she liked April but never expected her words would effect her so much. She felt wounded deeply.
"Hey hey I'm sorry too.Please don't cry. I was just confirming something my bff said. Look I'm a Psychology Student so i know you're an emotional , sweet dorky person. Claire always says you have crush on me and I waited long enough for you to make a move but you didn't. It really offended me because i like you too June. Despite being teased and bullied that never got me but i hoped you'll be brave enough for us.
Now that we're just months away to graduate and we'll part ways in life. It just got best of me. I didn't meant to hurt you June you're a very sweet girl" April confessed honestly.
June couldn't believe her ears , she just stared at her crush like a happy kid who got a biggest panda on her bday. Her tears kept flowing but her lips formed into a smile. "Although you're adorably cute most of the times but right now you look creepy " April teased at June's reaction.
June wiped her tears with her long sleeves and fixed her hair trying to look presentable. "Is it true?? the things you said , Do you mean it ?" She asked feeling hopeful.
April caressed June's cheeks bringing her face close , her lips brushed gently over June's making her stomach do flips inside. After a moment of gentle teasing April captured June's lips with her own.
The moment April began to devour her lips, sucking them with passion , June felt her knees go weak. She snaked her hands around April's neck to hold her jello body from falling. It felt like dream , her heart exploded with joys.
They felt a heat spark within their body but as much as they wanted to continue their make out session they knew there were eyes watching them intently. The kiss ended within a minute, they stayed together in each others embrace connecting foreheads
"I know it's too late for us to start anything but if we meet again after joining university I would like to give us a chance to date" Said April in a Sad serious Voice, June only nodded feeling teary again.
June understood her because they had finals to prepare, it was important for their admission in university. They both didn't knew where another one had applied so they thought to keep it a secret.
If destiny has plans to bring them together then they will be together somehow. With that being said the door brust open with cheering drunk teenagers. They just hooted for the entertainment they had watching two girls making out but it meant everything for June and April because they at least got a moment to enjoy their crush.
Love is Like an Opportunity ,when you have it grab it or it might loose from your grip. It doesn't hurts to take a chance , just make the damn move when your heart beats like crazy for a person...........based on true story
