Hospital: Helena woke with a jolt, sitting straight up in bed like 1000 volts surged through her body. Sigmund, who was sipping tea when she sat up, spit out the liquid in surprise. “Bloody hell!” He said wiping the mess from his coat. Doyle jumped when she moved, leaning over the footrail of her bed. “Would you look at that?” Helena gazed around the room, blinking her eyes trying to adjust to the dim light. “What happened? Where am I?” “You're safe, in a hospital, in San Francisco,” Doyle said. “What do you remember?” Sigmund asked his eyes darting to the open door and back watching Helena’s every move. “Is Missy all right?” Helena moved her hand trying to reach the curtain separating them. “Missy’s fine, she hasn’t stirred yet, but the doctors didn’t find anything wrong with her.
