"A penny for her thoughts," Cynthia said, snapping her fingers in front of Isabella's face. Startled, Isabella was pulled out of her wandering thoughts. She staggered, forcing a smile upon her lips, which quickly faded when Cynthia made a face. "Come on, Bella. You're not planning on doing this the whole week, are you?" Cynthia asked, crouching down. Isabella raised a skeptical eyebrow, as if she hadn't heard Cynthia's previous lectures. "Doing what? I'm not doing anything. As you can see, I'm just here beside you." Cynthia rolled her eyes, visibly satisfied with Isabella's response. It seemed that Cynthia had regained her strength after a week, just as the doctor had predicted.
