"Step forward Lysander" I ordered in the cold courtroom where everyone was afraid to move or speak. Fear! That is what I like, this is what I made them feel after the assassination of my wife. Everyone in the city trembles at the mention of Damon Demetrius. Grief, fear, and agony are what I feed those who failed to listen or follow the rules. I'd patiently wait for anyone to become prey to my anger which is vicious, even the universe always got a taste of my anger. "For being upright and loyal to me, I Damon Demetrius your king dismiss you from being my personal guard and promote you to my personal advisor" I asserted, Lysander stared at me dazed, I ignored the questioning eyes of the elites and continued, "bend your knees to claim your reward" I straight out my palm as he knelt before me and chant a spell, a dazzling medal appeared. The expression I got from the crowd was alarming, I snorted at their covetous gaze as the medal is very prominent, it's made of nymph pattern and the finest seashell which would worth a million dollars in the human realm, I summoned wind which applied a pull to the medal with the force of the wind it landed on his waist, "perfectly positioned" I thought and gestured him to stand. I turned my gaze to Marcus who was being forced by a few armies to go on his knees.
"We may now proceed with the verdict" I nodded at Lysander and he stepped down from the podium with the scroll containing Marcus's punishment. "Marcus Demetrius abducted innocent humans from the sea, locked them up, and sold them as s*x slaves which is against the rule of Pontius, thereby punishable by...." Loud laughter echoed through the court.
"Brother, you've never ceased to amuse me, you caused the storm that almost swallowed up a group of humans. Now you blame it all on me?" He muttered, agitation rising in the courtroom, pleading for minor punishment for Marcus, I snorted and nodded at Lysander. I focused my gaze on Marcus who gave me a sly smile, I chuckled at his naivety and waited for Lysander to call the verdict.
"As the court has decided to swipe the punishment of Marcus Demetrius which they've not heard or seen, now Marcus Demetrius is being sentenced to exile to live in the human world with no powers or memory of the sea" his face changed from slyness to shock and fear, I flipped my right hand and my trident appeared, I pointed it to Marcus and sealed his core powers, memories and sent him to the human world. I struck the trident on the floor and glanced around the courtroom which was silent like a graveyard. I took a quick glance at mum and walked out of the court with Lysander walking next to me.
"Damon!" I heard mom's voice calling behind me, I stopped right at the door and turned to her with an arched brow.
"Son, I invited a few guests over tonight, I wish you could join us for dinner" she let out vividly, I nod in response and stepped out in large strides.

I feel much better after being treated by the doctor who looks weird and nothing close to a doctor. I paced around the room thinking of an escape plan. I didn't even know how I landed here, neither have I seen the outside, I've always been in this room which should belong to that strange man, I thought still going about in circles and stopped in front of large silk which looks like a curtain, I swipe it open and so a large closed window, a slight smile plastered on my lips. I unlocked the window to have a clearer view of the outside but was shocked to see a tall covering the whole area, I gasp and gritted my teeth, "this can't be happening, I can't stay locked up in an unknown place, I need to get back home to face aunt Reena and dad" I uttered between my gritted teeth, walking around the room, I breathed heavily and sat on the bed, "I'll have to endure this till I get better" I stretched my arms as I still feel pain all over my body, "amidst that I'll also find a way to escape" I mumbled feeling a little bit relieved.
"Knock knock" I flinched as I heard a knock on the door, "could it be the strange man?" I thought and sprang up from the bed, I rushed towards the window, locked it, and swiped down the curtain. I straightened myself and strode to the door, hiding my fear, I unlocked the door and hid behind the door should he have bad intentions. I waited for a while but I heard no sound nor see anyone walked in, I came out from my hiding and saw two ladies standing outside, "my lady" they courtesies, I grinned feeling happy that finally, I'd got to see two other ladies apart from the strange men who have been walking in out of the room. "Come in" I let out in a calm tone and slammed the door.
"I'm Annabelle and this is Christine"
"I'm Jasmine" I muttered with all smiles, they both exchanged a glance for some time and returned their gaze to me.
"We're sent by the king as your personal servants," Annabelle explained.
"Ohh" I mumbled and sat on the bed, tapping my feet on the ground, an idea came to my mind and I smirked, "what can you do as my personal maidservant?" I inquired, biting my lip.
"My lady we can show you around the castle but with the King's permission, prepare your bath, massage you, help you dress up for a banquet, and arrange your room, we're at your service my lady" Christine explained further. I nodded my head in response. Not bad I thought, at least I got myself company till I found a way to escape.
"My lady we've already prepared your room if you may be pleased" Christine motioned me to the door. I shot them a glare confused at the room swap.
