I stepped down from the dolphin and walked into the dark cell but was stunned at the number of humans that were locked up under the sea by my half-brother Marcus, I clenched my fist angry at his frivolous behavior. "This is mother's fault, if she hadn't accepted Marcus knowing that he is the son of father's w***e, he wouldn't dare to act carelessly, he is taking advantage of the royal benefit mom gave to him," I thought to myself and stopped. I glanced around and sighed deeply, my eyes suddenly caught the sight of something as I turned to my personal guard, I halted my movement and crouched down gazing at the figure in front of me, "Demeter!" I muttered as I gasped slightly, she flinched and clasped herself. I couldn't believe that I'd been searching for you in the whole universe but here you are, in my sea, I got up and ordered the general to bring them to the courtroom, I left the dark cell after sparing her a last glance. "I'll deal with the mundane first, then I'll have your time Marcus" I hopped on a dolphin and rode away from the north wing. I rode back to my castle, sent the dolphin back to the sea, and strode to the courtroom.
"What's taking them so long?" I paced around the courtroom as I was already impatient. The herald immediately announced their arrival, I straightened my robe and sat down on my armchair. They all walked in with Lysander guarding them, I sighed deeply, locked my eyes, thinking of how to deal with the humans without causing them any harm. I felt an intense gaze and opened my eyes to see my Demeter checking me out. I smirked and she staggered, I snapped my finger and pointed towards her, she backed away gesturing to the person behind her to move forward. I summoned the wind which dispersed the crowd leaving only Demeter, she trembled rubbing her bare arms. Hardly had I noticed that her outfit was soaked on her body, exposing her figure, this is probably caused by the sea she looks drenched and pale, I frowned at the lustful gaze she got from the men, I raised my hand and made her appear in front of me, she stared at me with wide eye and suddenly lost her consciousness. I groaned "Lysander get the head maid and instruct her to take the lady to my chambers" I ordered. He bowed and left the courtroom, I snorted at the expression of the remaining humans. The head maid took Demeter to my chambers.
My trident appeared as I lifted my hand, I slammed it on the floor and channeled the bright light emitting from it to them, their shrieking scream echoed through the courtroom as I wiped their memory and sent them off the sea. "My Lord, how are you going to deal with your half-brother Marcus, he is still locked up in the underground cell" Lysander asserted.
"I haven't decided on the punishment yet, let him enjoy the vast darkness of the cell" I stood up and headed to the door which had already been opened by the guards. "My Lord.." I shot him a glare, he stuttered with no word coming out of his lips, I arched my brow questioningly. "Is that really Queen Demeter?" He inquired. I sighed, I've not thought of the probability that she might not be Demeter, she might be bearing her face like the others but they're absolutely different, I had a quick flashback to when Demeter died, I couldn't bear the grieve, I left the sea in search of her but only met the ones with the same face, luckily at the day of our marriage I gifted her a blue seashell which could be able to dictate a soul dominating the body, "I'll find out about that" I replied as I snapped out of trance and strode to my chamber.
Lysander unlocked the door and motioned me in, I stepped into the room and gestured him to leave. I walked to the inner cabinet where my king-size bed was, a soft smile left my lips as I watched the lady on my bed sleeping with no worries, she looks so delicate I thought and moved closer to her and sat on the bed gazing at her perfect which is still the same. "This may hurt a little" I uttered and breathed heavily. I raised up my two-finger which was emitting light and channeled it to her forehead, my eyeballs turned white as I mumbled a few words, suddenly I felt like something has attached to the energy I channeled to her forehead, channeled smirked, and pulled it out, my eyeballs immediately returned to its normal shade, "the soul shell" I asserted in excitement and seal back the shell into her, "Demeter" I called and her eyes flickered which amazed, she gawked at me for some time, suddenly widened her eyes and stepped away from me.
"You! What are you doing here?" I creased my brow feeling hurt as she distanced herself from me.
"This is my room Demeter, where else could I be if not here?"
"What is this place, why am I here? I can only recall being in a ship which sank and I got separated from my friend" she let out in one breath. "This is the sea of Pontus, I'm the king of the sea, and here is my castle, you're my queen, Demeter" I explained.
"What did you just call me?"
"Demeter and you're my queen"
"Woah, stop right there" she pointed at me. "All this you're saying is just a piece of junk, the sea of Pontus, being the king of the sea and I being your queen Demeter, cut it out bro, we're not in the cinemas and my name is not even Demeter but jasmine" she affirmed pacing the room.
"Demeter, you have..."
"Stop it! Stop it! Don't call me that! I don't know you, I don't know what I'm doing here or how I ended up here, I'm no Demeter, I'm jasmine Miller" she screamed, panicking. I waved my hand at her and she dozed off, I walked out of my chamber and instructed Lysander to get the imperial doctor.
