Chapter 3

(Ethan's POV)

Everyone is busy in their so called shopping and here I am taking care of Ginny ( my brother's daughter ). Ginny wants a cheese burger and we are heading towards a small burger shop in the west side of mall. Suddenly my phone started ringing, it's my secretary's call.

"Princess go inside and order your food I'll be there in a minute." "Okay Poppi!" yeah she calls me Poppi and I don't know why maybe I have to ask Kat about this nick name..

"Hello sir I hope you're fine hmm mm... "

"Just cut the bullshit and tell me what's the matter!"

"Sir you told me to remind you that you have a conference call with the board of directors this evening."

"Anything else?" I asked, already getting irritated with her.

"No Sir.." with that I disconnected the call and headed towards the shop and was surprised by the scene in front of me.. there was a boy about 10 years old and was ordering Ginny to give her order to him because it was the last cheese burger.

"Hey I don't like to repeat myself. I'm telling you last time to give me your order ugly duck" Ginny was close to crying and I was about to knock that kid out when a small girl hardly 6 years old stepped in front of Ginny with a bore expression on her face.

" And who do you think you're mister to walk around and demand things from others?? Oh lemme guess you are Mister President.. oh no you can't be President because last time I checked people without brain are not eligible for that post." she was a feisty little thing.

"Oh shut up this doesn't concern you so move!" the boy said. He was trying to intimidate the girl but she had other plans.

"Uh huh last warning leave the girl alone. I don't think that she wants to talk to you."

"Ooh I'm scared. You are going to hit me little girl??"

"No I'm not going to hit you but they definitely will!!" She indicated towards me. I was about to step in when two little boys from behind stepped in the shop and walked towards the little girl and Ginny.

"Julie what happen?" one boy in black jacket asked. So that's her name...

Julie smiled sweetly at him and said. "Jack he was trying to intimidate this girl, I was just helping her"

"Did he said something to you? Did he hurt you baby girl?" The second boy asked Julie

"No Chris he was just mocking me."

The boy name Chris turned towards the boy and said in a low but dangerous voice. "You dared to mock my baby girl!! I'm giving you five seconds to leave this shop. Dare to stay and you will regret it. Your time starts now!! Tick tock." the boy was clearly startled by the three kids. He nervously ran towards the door..

I was impressed!

"Thanks for helping Julie. My name is Ginny" she said with a shy smile.

Ignoring her the boy whose name is Jack said "Chris mommy told you not to behave rudely with others and Julie knowing you I'm sure you were about to punch that guy if you didn't saw us coming."

"But it was not my fault you can ask Ginny!" “Tell them!” she snapped at Ginny who was standing there nervously playing with her fingers.

"Uh huh we're supposed to take the help of our elders but both of you choose to intimidate others instead of doing what's right. Mommy's going to be so mad...." jack said. He seems to be like good obedient mama's boy.

"You are not going to tell maa about this." Chris said in a monotone. Believe me that kid has an intimidating aura around him.

"Of course I'm not telling mommy about this." Jack said.

"Oh that why I love u!" Julie said hugging him.

"So you don't love me baby girl?" Chris said pouting. "We both love you bro" they said hugging him. Oh so they are siblings.

"Hey princess what's up?" Ginny was relieved to see me when I turned towards the kids they were staring blankly at my face and they looked slightly pale as if they have seen a ghost. It was kind of little unnerving. And in a blink there faces held anger and hurt. Now I'm literally confuse. What have I done?

"Poppi they helped me and saved me from a bad guy" Ginny said "You should thank them princess."

"Oh don't bother to..

You should teach your daughter... I mean your princess to protect herself. It was nice meeting you sir and Ginny " the guy named Chris said in a cold tone which I mostly use in board meetings. It was very annoying. Julie's eyes were glassy with unshed tears. That eyes.... they were of the brightest blue color just like Ana's......

"Let's go Julie, jack we are getting late"

With that they exited the shop. My phone started ringing, it's mom.

"Yeah mom" "Ethan we're at the exit come on we are leaving for lunch"

"Okay mom we're coming"

I reached the exit and Ginny immediately hugged Mathew. We were about to leave when Ginny pointed towards our left. "Look Poppi its Julie over there." "Who's Julie?" my mom asked "Julie and her brothers, Jack and Chris helped me and saved me from a bad guy granny" Ginny explained to my mom. Chris was carrying Julie on his back with jack saying something to her. It was obvious that Julie was crying, a very confuse lady with two bodyguards who were carrying shopping bags were trailing behind them. They were heading towards exit where currently we were standing. I don't know but there was a sudden feeling in me to console Julie and to destroy anyone who hurts her.

I was about to reach them but they totally ignored us as if they don't know us and exited the mall. Strange.... Their daddy must be rich with all this arrogance and security they made quite an impression....
