"Mira get your butt down here now, I don't know how many times I've shouted you" my wonderful mother called, " fair enough she had shouted me a million times but I was in the middle of snap chat with Karly" I thought " I'm coming" I called back hoping she would chill out but as the Luna of such a large pack she did have a lot on her plate. Closing my laptop I stood to check my appearance in the full length mirror, I brushed my long black hair behind my ears and pulled my forever falling down jeans up over my hips, curse of being skinny and having no curves. My best feature is my big green eyes and when I wear mascara my eyes pop but I wasn't bothering with make-up today of all days. Visiting a neighbouring pack with dad for one of his peace treaty deals was not high on my list of fun things to do but as his daughter and the fact that I didn't have a job at nineteen made it difficult for me to get out of. I strolled downstairs headed for the kitchen as it was almost lunch time I knew there would be food ready on the table, I got to the kitchen just as Chris came out with a mouth full of what looked like a sandwich "ey iddo" he said " I think he meant hey kiddo but who knows?" "Chris is my dad's beta by the way and we are werewolves, well my mum is a super cool hybrid witchwolf but hey we're a normal family" I carried on into the kitchen to see mum sitting on my dad's lap practically eating his face "that is so gross you guys! People are eating in here" I said making a puking face and grabbing a ham sandwich from the plate on the table. My parents slowly parted and my mum giggled like a teenager " you know Mira your lucky to have parents that love eachother in this day an age" "mum it's the mate bond that keeps you loved up unlike normal people who have to work at love" I grunted " darling one day you will find your own mate and you will understand true love!" She said in a soft tone. "Be ready to go in ten minutes" dad said and with that he got up and kissed my mum again before he left the room. She smiled to herself before turning to me " take some with you for the drive if you want as it will be a few hours till you get there and get fed again" she said chuckling as if all I did was eat " well she wouldn't be far from wrong but with my high metabolism I never put any weight on" I thought "if you did maybe our clothes would fit better" giggled my wolf and I immediately shut her out of my mind thankful that was something I could do. I met dad outside and climbed into the four by four still chewing my sandwich I didn't say anything to him as he got in and started the long drive to what was unbeknown to me my new hell.
