Meanwhile in the Road, As Claire walks to her home, she notices Anna rushing to catch up with her while yelling at her to stop. She turns back as she takes off her earphone. "Anna?" asked Claire.

Anna catches up to her while gasping for breath. "Hey…. How…. you…are…." said Anna while breathing heavily. "Fine, I guess, you have something in mind?" asked Claire. "No, I mean, yes, but, maybe, I don't know but..." said Anna before getting interrupted by Claire. "They asked you to spy on me, didn't they?" asked Claire. "No, no, you got it all wrong, I just, I wanted to check whether you're okay?" asked Anna. "And why would you do that?" asked Claire.

"Because, I… was… worried." said Anna. Claire remains silent while staring at her numbly. Then she decides to continue walking. "Fine, whatever, come on." said Claire as he continues walking with Anna. "So? Are you coming on Monday? At school?" asked Anna. "Pretty sure after a incident like that, schools going to be closed for a month, but if I does, I don't know, what about you?" asked Claire. "My parents would kill me if I even skipped one day at school." said Anna.

"Huh? So your parents are…" said Claire before getting interrupted by Anna. "Immigrants, dad's in Turkey, and you know." said Anna. "Right, so? How're you doing? Must be really difficult concentrating on studies and figuring out this stuff?" asked Claire. "You have no idea, had to lie I'm going group studies related to ornithology research, not to mention I have to show them a fake progress report." said Anna.

"s**t, you really work hard." replied Claire as Anna start to giggle. "So Claire, I don't mean to pry but, is there's something wrong? You haven't been the same since…" said Anna before getting interrupted by Claire. "Field trip? So, you'd think it's better if I spend my days picking on people rather than make friends." said Claire. "God no, I didn't mean that, really, you are much better person, not that you were the worst, I mean technically you were but I didn't mean that kind of way, (clears her throat) I should shut up now." said Anna. "Yup, you definitely should." said Claire.

 Anna remains silent for a while. "What I meant was, did something happen to you, did um, Ian hurt you or something?" said Anna. "No, no, no, you got it all wrong, Ian would never do something like that, (he giggles) it's not that." said Claire. "Then what is it? If that's okay?" asked Anna. "It's um, well, something did happen, sort of, but promise me that you won't tell anyone." said Claire.

"Claire, I promise, you can trust me." said Anna. Claire clears her throat. "Well, after Ian sneaked out, I followed him, and then he found me, then…" said Claire before getting interrupted when a car which had approached nearby honks. Both of them turn back to see it is actually Anna's brother Arnesh Parker honking to get her attention. Anna immediately recognizes it as she then turns back to Claire.

"Claire I'm so sorry it's my…" said Anna before getting interrupted by Claire. "Go, we'll talk later." replied Claire. Anna gives a quick hug, then rushes to her brother's car. After getting inside the car and putting the seltbelt, Arnesh drives off as Anna gives a look at Claire who is walking all alone.

Moments pass as Anna and her brother reach their home. He stops at the carpark and then both get down from the car without ushering a word.

She immediately rushes to the house door without even looking back. As she reaches the door, the door opens and Anna's Mother, Sadie Parker, who was having a chat with Rebecca, a tall pale woman with red eyes, after seeing Anna, Sadie greets her with a hug. "Sweetie, how are you? How did the studies go?" asked Sadie. "Amazing, it'll give me a huge headstart on the school opening next week." said Anna.

"That's great, but don't schools get closed for a entire month after a incident like that?" added Rebecca. "Maybe." replied Anna. "Oh I almost forgot, Anna this is our new neighbor Rebecca, they are just off the street." said Sadie. "Pleasure to meet you." said Rebecca who rather looks pale and her eyes sort of look red. "You look weird." replied Anna. "Anna." said Sadie.

"It's alright, I haven't had my lunch for a while, I just be going now, bye, good to meet you Anna." said Rebecca. "You too, (turns to Sadie) are you going to let me in?" asked Anna. "Come on in." replied Sadie. Anna walks through and rushes to her room. After few moments, her brother arrives at the scene with the Amethyst which Anna had accidentally left in the car. Sadie who closed the door after he gets inside notices it. "What's that?" asked Sadie. "No idea, she must've left it." said Arnesh who hands it to Sadie.

Sadie then takes a closer look at the gem. "Since when does ornithology studies relates to gems?" asked Sadie. "Whatever, I'm going back to my room." said Arnesh as he begins to walk to his room.

"Did you have dinner?" asked Sadie. "Yes." replied Arnesh. "Keys please." asked Sadie. Arnesh tosses the keys to Sadie who catches it. "I've still got it." whispers Sadie in excitement.

Meanwhile hour later in Anna's Room, Anna who is preparing her fake progress report hears a knock on the door. "Come in." said Anna. The door opens and Sadie pops in with dinner prepared for her in her hand along with some water for her to wash her hands.

"Hey." said Sadie. "Hey mom, I'll get that." said Anna as she gets up and takes the plate from her hands. Sadie hands the plate and closes the door. Soon both of them sit in the floor as Anna washes her hands with the water brought and begins to have dinner. "So how's it going?" asked Sadie. "Usual… I guess, things haven't been the same since the field trip, but it'll get better, I think." said Anna while eating.

"That’s... good, I guess, I'm still sorry for forcing you to go on that horrible trip, had I known…" said Sadie before getting interrupted by Anna. "It's okay, no way you could've known, besides, it wasn't that bad." said Anna. Sadie stares at her in shock given her response. "No that I meant, (she gulps) what I meant is, I… made.. some friends." said Anna.  "What type of friends?" asked Sadie suspiciously.

"Girlfriends, (she clears her throat) not that type of, more like girls friends." said Anna. "Ohh, I see, you know sweetie, you can tell me anything." said Sadie as she lays her hand on Anna's. "I know Mom, (she takes her hand back and takes the cup) I will, it's just, right now, I may need some time." said Anna. "For what?" asked Sadie. "For my project.. I guess, I just need to get it prepared in time with school is in less than 3 days." said Anna. "Months, but, yes, I understand, and um, did you leave this in the car?" asked Sadie as she shows out the Amethyst in her hands. Anna gets frightened to death, but tries to remain calm as she grabs it immediately from Sadie. "It's nothing, just some stuff I found." said Anna who then absorbs the energy unknowingly, reading her mother's thoughts.

"Why is she acting weird? Maybe it's from her boyfriend." thinks Sadie while looking at Anna suspiciously. "No!" yells Anna. "No what?" asked Sadie. "Um, nothing, nothing, that's what I was going to say." said Anna.

"Okay, why did you want to say nothing?" asked Sadie. Anna remains silent while staring at her mom. Suddenly out of scaredness, she accidentally taps into her mother's mind. She becomes surprised and shocked to witness going to someone else's thoughts and memories.

Both of them remain numb as Anna goes even further and alters her mother's memories and thoughts towards her. She then returns to the world after doing what she did, having no clue what's going to be the result and washes her hands. Her mother too returns but with a creepy robotic smile, she notices Anna has finished her dinner and has just finished washing her hands.

"Oh right then, I'll clean this up." said Sadie in the same sweet tone as she takes the plate and begins to walk away from the room. Anna observes her behavior and becomes confused.

"Mom?" asked Anna. Sadie turns back at Anna with the same robotic smile. "What?" asked Sadie. "Are you okay?" asked Anna. "Of course, good night." said Sadie as he leaves the room without observing her homework.

"What the hell was that?" asked Anna who has no idea what she did to her mind. She looks at the gem, then at the closed door, then again at the stone until she realizes she actually altered her mind with her abilities. She remains shocked for a second but gets excited as she takes a look at Amethyst. "You and I are going to have so much fun." said Anna at the Amethyst.
