Chapter Fifteen
Lucy started sleeping in Nick’s bedroom, using her own for storage and painting. One evening, Nick came into her room and watched as she worked on one of her manga girls.
“How’s it going?” Lucy asked without looking up. This was a very different Lucy. When she was focused on her art, nothing else seemed to matter. Nick cupped his hands over her breasts and stroked his thumbs over her n*****s. He rested his chin on the crown of her head as he watched her paint. Her hair smelled of coconut.
“Taking a break,” he replied. “I want to show you something.”
