CHASING DESTINY

CHAPTER 2

After drifting in the darkness for a long time, Ronan suddenly opens his eyes.

He frantically looked around and realizes that he was not in a hospital but a cool designed bedroom. And from the sounds he's hearing, he was not alone. Someone is showering inside the bathroom inside the room he was in.

What the hell is going on?

He almost shout out loud when he looked down and realizes that he was not wearing anything.

The hell??

What's happening??

He still might be confused right now but he didn't dare to stay much longer inside this mysterious room, with difficulty he leaned on the bedside table so he could stand up but the bathroom door suddenly opened, and then he saw a man dressed with just a towel, his whole body still dripping.

Ronan's eyes grew big... Gulp, where the hell am I, and who the f**k is this guy?!

Slowly raising his head, he finally saw the man's cold face, and Ronan was shocked!

Kristoff Marcus?

Why is he at his place?

He is the power holder of the country's Biggest Corporation, the leading player in America's business community.

And at the same time... the Alpha of Crimson Fang Pack, the mortal enemy of the Cristiano family.

Kristoff cold eyes grew more colder. Then he walked towards him, and Ronan didn't know what to do. He couldn't even think. What the hell is going on??

Then, all of a sudden, he realized something. There's something wrong with him. Frozen from his spot. He didn't realize it sooner because of how bizarre everything is.

But he couldn’t sense him. Or even smell him.. Not just him. Everything. It's like his wolf was suddenly gone. But that was absurd?! How could that even happen?!

Ronan flinched when Kristoff stopped in front of him and hold his slender arm, there was a little anger in his deep black eyes, his breathing somewhat heavy.

"You are still not giving up?"

"What do you mean not giving up?" He slurred. Fuck... Even his tongue is not cooperating with him...

Ronan struggles to get free, but his arm was gripped so tightly that it actually hurts. And knowing his naked beneath the sheets pooling around him he's having a hard time moving.

Kristoff eyes became darker, and his body started getting hotter. This damn human, what did he give him?!

He's an Alpha Wolf. Normal alcohol wouldn't even work on him, and as far as he knew this human doesn't have any idea of what he really is. So who gave him an aphrodisiac that would work, especially on an Alpha werewolf?!

He wanted to know. f**k he wanted to know who has the guts to do so. But with the drug coursing throughout his body, slowly eating away any rationality he has left, he knew that he is doomed to sleep with this human. And that's making him more angry. How humiliating!

Ronan tug his arm again and when Kristoff saw that he wanted to get away from him, something within Kristoff finally snapped. He growled. His hold at the human grew tight.

Pushing him to down to the bed, he rips the duvet away from his body and when he finally saw his nakedness, Kristoff's wolf went crazy and any rationality he had left vanish in an instant.

Ronan struggles, trying to escape, but the man stubbornly pushes him on the bed willfully invading him.

Kristoff sneered and said with a cold voice, "Why do you want to escape now, isn't this what you wanted?"

"No.. Never.. I've never wanted this..." Ronan cried out.

What's actually happening?

He was not dead. But was instead in Kristoff Marcus bed!

The painful torture feels like it will never end. And when he could no longer bear the pain, he finally lost consciousness.

He do not know how much time had passed, but loud angry voices forced him to wake up with a splitting headache.

"Luca, the doctor already said you are out of danger, what are you still pretending? Grandma lets you stay in our family because he pities you, and you are still too greedy. You even drugged my older brother and climbed his bed."

Ronan looks at the mysterious man and his surroundings with a confused face. Still could not differentiate whether these are all real or just a dream.

A sophisticated lady who was dressed in a high-class dress pushes all the young men outside.

"Second young master, you go out first, let his change his clothes first so we could go downstairs and talk."

Ronan slowly sat up, there is a unbearable pain in his lower body, and he's stiff and aching all over...

The woman help him out of bed and sent him to the bathroom.

"Take a shower first, and then change your clothes."

Ronan was pushed into the bathroom, and when he saw himself in the mirror his breathing trembled in horror.

The f**k!?

In the mirror, it reflected a young man, who is probably only eighteen or nineteen years old. He's very beautiful with pale and fit body. He has shoulder length red hair. Silver eyes and curly lashes. His face is a bit feminine than he liked but it only make him more beautiful and with how shorter than he was than he remembered anyone who don't know any better would mistake him for a woman which is ridiculous.

But the most ridiculous thing is his face. This is definitely not his face... It's definitely not him... f**k who the hell is this?!

What is he gonna do now??

It's very clear that the young man standing in front of him is not Ronan Cristiano.

And then all a sudden, unknown memories came flooding into him. He shockingly looked at the boy in the mirror for a long time and still could not believe everything that happened to him.

Ronan was already dead.

However, he was reincarnated into another person and became an eighteen-year-old human named Luca Mendez.

And what he went through was all because of this body's original owner.

Yesterday, Luca took advantage of Kristoff and he put the drug in his favorite wine that the maid had prepared for him and purposely went to his room to seduce him.

As a result, he was violently pushed away by Kristoff, but the original died after he crashed his head into the bedside table. And in the end his soul possessed this body..
