(Elizabeth's POV) That day of my fight with Cora I had no idea what was going on, or how bad things were, until I couldn't control my body. I think Alex saw exactly what my wolf wanted to do, because he acted fast and we found ourselves in the middle of no where. Where we made love like we hadn't in years, I hadn't wanted the night to end but we had to get back, once at the house we headed straight to our room, but then I grabbed him by the arm right as a small explosion went off in our room, when we breathed in the air it was filled with silver dust, we close the door. Alex didn't even have to mind link anybody they all ran toward us up stairs, they looked around while i calmed the kids they had awaken from the noise. I'm not sure but something was telling me it had been Aaron, but I didn't say anything. They couldn't find anything, and smelling anything in there was breathing in silver particles. we slipped into some sweats for now, and slept in an other room. As the days went by Alex called me and Rafael in to talk into his office. Which I found two more traps one in his desk chair and the other inside his desk, he gave me a look, but then said later and continued to talk to us. "What does pure blood mean to you?" he asked looking at my brother first. "I  know that, they were great beast of power, and the most violent, but also with a lot of powers even more so then the wolves of now." "Right, violence is what drove these beings and some believed that mating with a human would calm them, and their pups would also be more calm, some lines don't have that anymore, you're either born a wolf or not, but it's rare for a she wolf and a male to have more then one, my guess is, your mother didn't have any idea what she was doing when she had all four of you." "But my brothers aren't violent they're a bunch of big puppies!" "Hey!" "we where only around them for a week, beautiful, and they didn't have the chance to show too much, but I've seen you two in battle and it's scary even at wolves standards, you two are brutal and dangerous." "SO we're pure blooded what does that mean?" "You as Luna have the responsibility to care for a pack and the people around you, and that's got you on edge, especially with the new up rise in rouges again, your wolf can sense it and the kids are too exposed to it, their wolves are only reacting to the danger." "what can we do?" He then turned to Rafael, like my brother knew something and was just caught. "An Alpha is strong but a pure blood Alpha...now that's a beast." Rafael smiled but ducked his head. "You flatter me, Alexander, but I don't have the want to be Alpha, I rather be a soldier then a leader, maybe if you were an unfit leader, that would be a different story, but the point is you aren't and I am happy where I find myself." "Yes, but you do have the potential to be a second, why else would Eduardo pick you all those years ago?" "Honestly, to rub it in my face, I have never had it in me to be a permanent leader, I can take charge if needed but never full time." "okay well, knowing all this what does this mean?" I asked a little annoyed now. "It means I found a way to get the kids under control,I'd you're willing to do it." Alex looked at Rafael who sighed deeply, but nodded. I was glad because I'd trying my best but the wolves were just not responding right, and even with the spell Dad created, it was pointless if the trauma was repeating itself. Once my brother left, Alex came over to where I stood and kissed me deeply. After a bit he rested his forehead on mine, looking deeply into my eyes. "Now what's bothering you, beautiful?" I had to smile at him, he always found out how I was feeling and thinking but always gave me a chance to say for myself. " I not saying you were right, or trying to say he's the problem, but my bad feeling started..." "When Aaron returned." He stood back, as he said it like I said he just knew things. I nodded and he sighed. "Even I noticed there's something, but it not just Aaron, I mean he's eleven but this is way too calculated even for him." "Love, don't underestimate kids they have ways of being a weapon for those that use them as such." He sat in thought for a minute, then looked at me. " With what I've been hearing, there were more rouges then we thought, and I just found that Aaron's and Eden's uncle has been in a pack of them, but they're very good, they know how to hide." "okay, then what's the plan?" "That's not the worst part." " Great what's the worst part?" "They're recruiting these kids, and force them to submit to the Alpha, the others and I have been talking and quit a few kids have gone missing from packs." "Are you telling me, they have an army of child soldiers?" He looked right at me and nodded. "So Aaron has been brainwashed?" "It seems that way, but they really think I wouldn't notice, or maybe they do and want me to kill him." "What would that solve?" "The Uncle could challenge me, give him an in." I rubbed my face and just sat down, this couldn't be happening. "Any ideas?" "I'm not going to hurt , Aaron, but maybe you can help him change his mind, in what he's doing and maybe have him tell us wasn't going on." "As they say kill him with kindness." "Exactly, we need to get him to understand that we are not the enemy and who else better then you." I stared at him as he looked at me. "As much as I love your sweet words, I'm not doing so hot in helping these kids lately and I doubt it's going to be easy, to get him on our side." "Try, beautiful, that's all I ask, try." I sighed and got to my feet again and walked over to him, kissing him lightly on the lips. "Fine." With that I walked out of the office and headed to see Beth and check on the kids.Like before I found Aaron sitting alone, and I walked over to him. "Hey, you okay?" "Whatever." he answered that word I hated hearing but I guess.I thought back to when he was little and how it was far more simple. Then I thought about the one thing he loved. "I'm making cookies, want to help me?" He sat there but I could see him thinking about it. "What kind?" "Double chip, chocolate chip." "Can I help?" asked Tomas, I looked at Aaron, he wanted to say no, but at the same time was fighting the idea of making his favorite cookies. "I don't know what do you think Aaron?" Aaron looked at me then at Tomas, he nodded and we headed inside to make cookies, as we got things ready and started to mix, and stuff I could see Tomas and Aaron really working together, then when we scooped them out onto the cooking sheet, they both had their own sheets, they soon made a little race, who got done faster, Tomas got mad because Aaron beat him, and Aaron called him a baby, that's when the fight broke out. "I'm just faster, because I'm older!" "Whatever, you just like to show off, but my mama loves me...!" "That's enough!" I called over them, Aaron looked hurt at me then looked back at Tomas, then walked out of the kitchen and out the door outside. I looked at Tomas, he looked mad, but I picked him up and while the cookies were in the oven I sat down to talk to him. "What have we talked about when it comes to Eden, buddy?" "Eden might not be our blood, but she's still my sister, like Evelyn." "Right, Aaron is your big brother, and my love has nothing to do with how he does things, he is faster because he is older, and all kids like to show off to their parents but that doesn't mean we'll love one more then the other just because." Tomas nodded and gave me a hug, then he walked out behind Aaron my guess to go apologize to him. As I cleaned up I felt something really heavy right over my heart, I turned off the oven and headed outside. Then Evelyn and Eden ran toward me. "Mommy, Aaron ran into the forest and Tomas followed him in!" "Alex?!" I mind linked him and soon him a some other s went looking for our sons. (Aaron's POV) "Aaron, wait for me!" "Get lost,Runt!" "Aaron, I didn't mean what I said, it's just..." He went quiet behind me, when I turned to look at Tomas, he was looking back at the way we came, I could smell his fear, but instead of it making me happy I felt for him, even if I didn't want to admit it, he reminded me of me, when I was little, Liz, taking care of us and loving us even when she wasn't my blood Mom. "Shut up boy, you know what to do!" snarled that voice in my mind, I did know but I didn't want to. I walked over to Tomas and gave him a hug, then very slowly I wrapped my arm around his neck, it would be so easy and so fast, to just break his neck and run. Alexander would be hurt, but then so would Eden and Liz. "DO it!" the voice snarled, I couldn't I wasn't a killer, I couldn't kill my little brother. "What's wrong Aaron?" Asked Tomas as I loosened my hold on him, and I knelt down, but before I could say anything, I heard them run toward us from behind me. "Run!" I yelled at him, He did and I ran right behind him, but then came skiting to a halt as he fell in front of me, I grabbed him and threw him over my shoulder and onto my back. I ran just as a hand barely missed his leg, we were almost out of the forest, might not be the way we came in but we were almost out and that was better then nothing. Right when I thought we were out, I heard him scream in pain and I was yanked back, looking back a wolf had grabbed him by the leg and was pulling, Tomas screamed in pain and fear as I pulled on him, and the wolf pulled on his leg,  I Looked at Tomas and he saw what I needed to do, he quickly nodded and quickly I grabbed his waist and bit down hard on the wolf's nozzle. The wolf released Tomes and howled in pain and anger. I pulled Tomas and quickly reached the exist of the forest, running right into Alexander. (Alexander's POV) When Liz called to me, I ran head first into the forest, I had no idea how but Aaron covered his and Tomas's scent, but then I smelled the uncle I followed and again it ended in a dead end. Then I heard the screams and howls, I ran toward them and had just reached an opening in the forest, when Aaron came running out while dragging Tomas out with him. Tomas's leg looking really bad, he was losing a lot of blood and had almost lost his leg. Aaron looked at me with fear in his eyes, we quickly got Tomas back to town and then took him to the doctor. Luckily he saved Tomas's leg, Liz sat next to our son, with tears in her eyes, I turned to look at Aaron, as he sat in the waiting room. He was hunched over, just looking at the floor blankly. I sat down next to him, and he tensed up real quick. "Five years, I raised you and you were always a little smart ass, not once flinching, now you fear me?" He looked at me, then looked down and shrugged.I sat down looking around the hospital, then looked back at him. "You want to hate me for letting you go, fine, but realize, that Tomas has nothing to do with my choice, I love all four of you the same." He sat up a little straighter but without looking at me. "No you don't, he's your blood, I'm not." "I've always known that, Aaron, I knew you weren't mine, but I decided not to take it out on you, your mother made choices, you're the innocent in the middle of it all." He looked at me and for once there was a relief, there hadn't been for a while. "You always knew, then why did you keep us?" "Contrary to popular belief, I have a heart, and you guys filled it, as does our family." He just seemed defeated, but didn't say anything. I got up and walked back to the window to Tomas's room. Tomas was awake and from the looks of it was talking to Liz. "You saved him and brought him back to us, thank you." I said back at him, he ducked his head, putting his hands to cover his ears. Down deeply he had made a choice, now we wait and see what that choice was.
