*WAVINA JAVIER*
Before I could move to see what's going on behind me, Guili already fell over me. The mug in his hands was like a big hard rock thrown with full force on my shoulder blade that brought a stinging sensation on my body.
If I hadn't worn a thick brown coat with a white sleeves underneath, my skin would certainly have flayed off as the hot coffee inside the mug poured all over my back.
Because the incident was all of a sudden, I fell seriously straight on the floor in which the mug in my grip broke into several pieces as I unintentionally propped it to the ground and cut my palm for about an inch long, I guessed.
The impact of my fall caused me to feel terribly in pain. Also the wound in my palm twinged so I presumed that there's a broken piece of mug stuck in my palm.
-"Sister!"
-"Wavina!"
Everyone shouted together with eyes wide open in awe.
In the next milliseconds, as Guili squatted down with a fake worried expression to assist me up while repeatedly saying he was sorry, Murphy unnoticeably appeared on our side with flaring eyes and whisked Guili away towards the corner.
We were all marvelled to see Guili thrown to the wall like a mere lifeless object and bounced back to the floor. Due to it, we found out how strong Murphy is when he was in full rage.
"The next time you touch even the tip of Wavina's finger, I will end your cheap useless life." Murphy glared at Guili who was struggling to stand up and contorting in pain.
It might be unbelievable but I heard Murphy's knuckles clicking as he clenched his fists and the way he breathed was loud. Like, he was grasping an air.
"Chairman, what did I do wrong to her?" Guili said under his broken voice.
Muwin, who was crouching at my side, stood up and walked towards him and replied on behalf of Murphy. "You know clearly what you did. How dare you hurt my sister!"
Muwin kicked Guili's shoulder which I didn't expect him to do. He was like Murphy, unimaginably strong. Though the way he kicked his foot looked like no force at all, but due to it, Guili was trailed back to the wall.
"If killing humans is not a hefty sin for us, I won't wait the next time like my brother. Now, right here, you already lost your life!" Muwin snorted as he clenched his fists.
I blinked my eyes, processing everything I saw and heard in mind. These two brothers were weird. Not only because their reactions were too much for this trivial matter but because they were inexplicably strong.
How could that be possible? Was there really someone who was born with such ability? I was confused.
*MURPHY ADERSON*
Rage could really blind people.
Seeing Wavina in pain sprawling on the floor, my heart was like going to explode and wanting to swallow Guili alive and whole.
I forgot myself, my manners, the people around me who might already think I was ruthless and weird or worst a monster because I just threw Guili away effortlessly. Most importantly, I forgot the most important matter I needed to attend to. It's Wavina.
Thanks to Dusk who stormed in from the quarter's main door. If he hadn't come, I really forgot that Wavina was bleeding and her scent smelled around the place.
"Murphy, Wavina is bleeding!" Dusk shouted worriedly.
The faces of witnesses around was wondering how Dusk knew the thing that happened inside knowing that he just came in. Not only that, I could tell from their expressions that they were also wondering why Dusk was overly concerned for Wavina.
As I remembered the matter, I yelled to Dusk which only added to the confusion of the onlookers. "Close the door!"
Right after, I faced Wavina who was still sprawling on the floor. I crouched to sit her up. Aside from Wavina's blood scent, I also suddenly sense the presence of an evil dragon.
I looked at the faces around because it seemed someone was spying on us right now but I couldn't find any suspicious person from them based on their reactions. They were all normally in shock from everything that happened and at the same time, concerned for Wavina.
I touched my chest as my heart tightened. I couldn't breathe well to see Wavina's pained expressions as I held her hand and found the broken mug pricked deep into her palm.
I was sorry, at the same time, blaming myself for being careless. I hadn't performed my obligations well. Which was to keep her safe and unscratched.
"Nana, I'm sorry. I am useless. I have not protected you well." I said emotionally as I looked at her wondering face.
"Mr. Aderson, why are you telling me sorry? This is not your fault at all." Wavina said.
"It is. It was my mission to keep you safe but I let you get hurt."
"Huh? What mission?" Wavina's brows collided.
Oh no! What a careless mouth I had. I really spelled it out. Gladly, she didn't pay much attention and seek meaning to what I said.
I didn't dare to open my mouth anymore. I was afraid that after one more word, I would unawarely disclose something that I should not.
For this very moment, I was aware that evil dragons might now be approaching the tower or maybe some of them had already managed to sneak in to tail Wavina's scent and get her as they found her.
Though confused knowing that the last time she bleeds I could barely smell her scent, not unlike now which was too damn fragrant, without a word I brought Wavina's palm to my mouth to prevent her scent from emitting.
"Murphy, you can't do that!" Dusk tried to stop me but I only gave him a deaf ear.
"Mr. Aderson, no!" Wavina retracted her hand but she failed. Who was I? I was Murphy Aderson who could get and do what I wanted. No one could stop me from doing anything if I wanted to.
I could tell Wavina's tension as I sucked out her blood. But after a very short while, as my eyes intently stared at hers, she was unable to hide her growing attraction in me anymore. I could see it through her eyes. The way she looked at me was like a girl that was in love.
If she was really in love with me. Given with my current condition, I was afraid she would only get her heart broken.

As no more blood came out at their own will, I released her hand from my mouth.
"Mr. Aderson, the broken mug, my blood--you swallowed it all?" She stuttered, pointing my mouth and her hand with a stupefied face.
"You got it wrong!" I rebutted. "There's nothing that stuck in your palm. About the blood, well, I found out that it actually tastes sweet." I joked. Actually there was, but I don't believe such thing could kill me.
"You-you-are you a vampire?"
"What if I am. Are you afraid now?" I teased.
What I said finally made her smile. Obviously, she purposely bought my boring joke. "Yes. I'm afraid." She acted.
My attention went back to the people inside the wide room. I observed each of them, hoping to see a loophole from the spy whoever he was among them.
I was restless because I really felt that someone unwelcome was one of them. Or I was just paranoid because these people were with me for quite a few years and I didn't sense anything. Not until now.
"Wavina, let me wrap your wound." Cheska broke in the tense atmosphere as she just came over and pulled Wavina on her work table. I didn't stop her since she meant no harm.
"Whatever happened inside this room today, I don't want it to reach outside. Whoever leaks anything, especially about who gets injured, I will make you accountable for the consequences. Did you all get me?" I authoritatively stated.
-"Yes!" Everyone replied in fear.
Then I glanced at Guili who was at the side, sitting as he rested his back to the wall.
"Get your stuff and leave. I don't want you to be here anymore." I ordered Guili.
He rushly crawled towards me and begged with tears in his eyes. He tried to hold my pants but I dodge. "Chairman, please think it twice. I can't lose my job. If you fire me, my family will starve."
I looked down on him. "Since you are aware of that. You shouldn't mess with me."
"Chairman, all these years I have been one of your excellent employees. Are you really going to fire me just because of her?" He pointed to Wavina. His eyes as he looked at her were resentful.
"I acknowledged your talent but I won't tolerate your misconduct. Now, leave. You were no longer welcome here!"
"Mr. Aderson, can you give him one more chance?" Wavina pleaded.
"Don't try to persuade me. There's no more third chance for him." I sternly stated.
