LINDSEY’S POV
Kevin drooped me to my hostel after I had breakfast. He kissed me before promising to come and pick me up after class.
We would chill at his place and later on, we would go to the concert that he was telling me about.
“Look at you with that wide smile,” Brenda told me when I walked into the room.
I couldn’t help it, I smiled even more. Kevin made me happy and all this time, I had forgotten not only what Jim did to me, but his existence too.
“It turns out that he is a nice man. I should have just been honest with him from the word go,” I told Brenda who was happy to be right.
