Jeremy smiled slightly as he imagined things going according to plan, he would be the happiest person alive. He subconsciously dial Gregg's number to tell him about his new intention but he contemplated on telling  him because of his nagging behavior. "Hello.. Gregg's grumpy voice reached his ear and he could almost see his friend's disgruntled expression. " Did I disturb your sleep?" Jeremy asked in a caring way. "Just say what you have to say, I have picked your call already." Gregg replied, stifling the urge to yell at him. "It seems you are in a good mood this morning, but this is just 7am don't you think it's too early to call someone?" Gregg decided not to let go of the fact that his sleep was cut short. He slept late last night and intended to catch up on the sleep but his dear friend had cut it short. "I'm sorry for disturbing you, you can go back to sleep" Jeremy made up his mind not to tell his friend his plan anymore. "Are f*****g kidding me?, Jeremy I am going to pay you back for this" Gregg almost threw his phone at the wall after ending the call. What a great way to start a day! After dropping his phone Jeremy moved to start his plan, he felt so elated thinking about it. ~ Diane's POV I woke up feeling refreshed even though I had little sleep. Rhea left very late last night and I managed to get the apartment in order. I perform my morning ritual in the bathroom and my reflection from the mirror looks better than it did yesterday. I  skipped breakfast like I normally do, my busy work schedules never leave time out for  breakfast and I grew slowly accustomed to the habit. I settle down on the couch with my laptop on my folded legs, I have a lot to do today. I'm now jobless, it's time to search for a new befitting job. I opened my email and a series of new mail lines up like they normally do if I don't check for a long time. But it has just been a couple of days. A new email came in and its title caught my attention. "A job invitation?" I said out loud, confused. I clicked on it expecting to see some sort of ad or irrelevant content but it was a real job invitation. "It even has my name on it" I narrated to Rhea as I still find it strange that I got an invitation when I did not attend any interview with them. "What is the name of the company?" She asked. "I forgot the name but I think it is a family corporation" I replied. "Are you planning on going?" "Of course!, I'm jobless remember" "Once you get there take a picture of the place before you go inside, in case you get kidnapped I will have a lead to give to the police" she said in her usual unreasonable ways. "Rhea!, I'm not going to get kidnapped. Just relax, there won't be any need for a picture". I replied, chuckling. " I have to go now, see you later and don't forget the picture." She said in a rush before disconnecting the call. "Can I still go today?" I thought while checking the time. It's 9am already, it won't hurt checking it out. I wrote down the address after getting ready. I dressed in a mid length skirt and short sleeved shirt. My hair was in glorious waves around my shoulders, so I decided not to straighten it like I always do every morning. A black heels and a black purse completed the look. No makeup, just some lip gloss and I left the house. After getting to the address I wrote down I couldn't get out of the car, I have been here before with Michael some time ago. Wouldn't it be embarrassing if someone recognizes me? After five minutes of a major brain wrecking contemplation. I exit the parking lot and walk quickly into the company. I'm to ask for the office of a Mr Jeremy Christopher, after a series of turns and weird looks from the staffs. I finally make my way to the first floor. I feel like returning home but I can't let my effort go to waste. I'm here already, why don't I just finish what I came here for. "Good morning" "Morning," the receptionist replied with  a polite smile. "I'm here to see Mr Christopher"  I have learnt not to say Jeremy Christopher, I don't know why but I was given a strange look the first couple of times I said it together. I haven't had to go through this before, I haven't even been to an interview before but I have interviewed tons of people. "Do you have an appointment with him?" She asked. "Yes I do," I replied. She asked me to sit while she made a phone call and excuse herself before disappearing into a room that has the CEO sign on the door. Not more than a minute later she came back out and gestured for me to go inside the Ceo's office. I wanted to ask a question but I just swallowed it and knocked on the door. I entered after a response from inside. Inside the office is very large which is not surprising judging by the size of the whole company. I did a little research about the company before coming and I found out the CEO is in his early thirties. "Sit down," the man seated behind a large table gestured to one of the chairs at his front. His back was to the window which made his face a little dark and I can't make out his features. It's a little too dark in the office and I find it very strange. I should have taken a picture like Rhea said. He pressed on a remote and the blinds  closed and the whole room became bright as he switched on the light. I remain calm and collected even if I should be out of this place now. "Are you Mr Christopher?" I asked, suddenly surprising him and myself. "You are not, right?" "Wait!, it's you. Mr Jeremy" I couldn't keep still as I recall his face.
