I watch Lina enter the pack house and I call over my waiter to offer her a drink. I added the smallest amount of wolfsbane to Lina’s champagne. Just enough to make her uncomfortable, but not enough to notice. I watch her talking to Cassie. Pfft I can’t believe I used to consider both of them my family. Cassie married my cousin Todd, and we used to hangout. She would have girl time with ME! Then after I was made a rogue they all shunned me, stopped talking to me, treated me like a black sheep. I suddenly realize that I’m probably staring daggers at the two of them. So I put on a pleasant expression and glance daintily around the room. I just have to play this part of the humbled Luna for a little longer. I walk around and greet a few more of my guests.
