Everyone it taken aback by Julie’s confession.
“Bear, maybe we should discuss this somewhere more private.” I suggest. Bear is furious and yanks Julie off the ground and towards his office. Andrew and I follow him. We make our way through the crowd. Bear releases Julie, pushing her into the office as we close the door behind us.
“What do you mean you are pregnant? You don’t smell any different.” Bear says.
“I can be pregnant without smelling different.” Julie contests.
“You stupid girl. You would put our unborn child in danger. What if you didn’t succeed and Lina killed you in retaliation?”
“I would have told her before she killed me.”
