Catalina’s POV
“What was that?” Caleb whispers. I stand up trying to get a better look, I gasped from the sound of a branch breaking. It was really loud and caught me off guard.
“A Bear?” Alastair suggests.
“Maybe? Should I take a look?” I ask the boys.
“No, we can’t eat a bear. It will run off.” Caleb says. Which is true, I wouldn’t want to kill a bear and not be able to eat it. The noise happens again, this time closer, like it’s moving towards us. Caleb and Alastair stand up, ready to fight. The bushes start to shake.
“It’s right there.” Caleb whispers then out hops a bunny. A fluffy tail white and gray, long eared bunny rabbit. We all breathe a sigh of relief. The bunny looks at us and then hops away.
“That-was-terrifying.” Caleb teases. But we all have a good laugh at it.
