I did everything I could to hold my demon back but it was really hard. I knew that I couldn't show him that I was different, that he must not ever know what I am. All the vampires at the house know that something isn't right with me because of how long I've lived but Jovian is the only one to have ever seen my black eyes and that was on accident.
