Kara's POV:
The next few days, Atticus, the visitor, along with a few of the guards have been out hunting more vampire nests and killing all who are there. They haven't brought any back with them alive, just their body parts that then get burned. Each time they are out, they are gone for different amounts of time which makes it hard to know how long they will be away.
During the time they are out hunting, I've just stayed in my room, thinking. I couldn't really stop thinking about what Jovian had said to me. It isn't exactly something I ever really thought about. Finding a way out of here has been on my mind for several hundred years, that isn't what I never thought about. Having Atticus killed is something I had never thought about before he mentioned it.
