Allison's POV
Days passed and William avoided me like the pledge. Sadness gripped my heart as I walked past his office. I lifted my hand the knock but I thought twice. I brought my hand back to my side as a tear rolled down my cheek. As I turned to leave I heard a voice, Lucy's voice to be exact. "I can make you happy Alpha if you let me." Bile rose up my throat as tears stung my eyes. Was he cheating on me? Maybe that's why he was distant.
"Lucy for the last time get out," William said in an exhausted voice. "What does she have that I don't?" Lucy asked in a mock hurt voice. "She's everything you aren't. She's sweet, kind, loyal, and an overall amazing woman. She genuinely cares for me and the pack, something you never did. You're just a power-hungry b***h. Now get out of my sights." William said with pride lacing his words. Lucy pushed the door open and ran down the hall with tears streaming down her face.
I walked to the door and knocked twice. "Lucy didn't I tell you -" William stopped once he opened the door and saw me. He had dark bags under his eyes and his hair was a mess. "Ally." He breathed out my name before he pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, I just been really busy." He said as he pulled me into the office.
"I can help, I am going to be Luna soon so I might as well get a head start," I said as I pulled a chair next to his. He smiled as he sat down, he then turned to me with a grim look. "I have something to show you." He said as he handed me a crumpled piece of paper.
My heart sunk as fear ran through me as I read the note. 'My beautiful little bunny. You can run as fast as you like but I'll follow you everywhere. We'll be together soon my love.' I placed the note on the desk with shaky hands as I looked at William with panicked eyes. "There has been an increase in rouge activity too. You don't have to worry I'll keep you safe even if it kills me." William said as he pulled me into his hands.
When I calmed down Will picked me up and placed me on the sofa and covered me in a blanket. "Rest here while I make a few calls." He said as he kissed my head and walked off. Sleep embraced me with loving arms as I fell into a deep slumber.
I was standing in an opening full of wildflowers. "Mommy look what I made." An excited voice called out to me. I turned and saw a little girl with black hair and hazel eyes. She was a spitting image of William.
I smiled as I dropped to my knees and opened my arms for her. "I made you a crown just like mine." She said smiling as she placed the crown on my head. My heart filled with joy as I kissed her cheek. "Thank you, sweetheart, where's your father?" I asked as I looked around. My arms felt heavy as I looked down. Her eyes were gouged out as blood seeped from a hole in her chest. I panicked as tears ran down my cheeks. "No wake-up baby it's okay. Please wake up." I cried as I pulled her to my chest.
"Allison!" I heard Will scream my name as I looked up. He was tied to a pole as blood dripped from his chin. "William!" I screamed as a knife pierced his heart. His lifeless eyes stared back at me. I gripped my hair and sobbed. "Sweetheart." A sick vice called from behind William's dead body. Alexander walked from behind him with the knife in his hands.
He brought the knife to his mouth and licked the blood off it. "How does it feel to watch your loved one be taken away from you. You weak pitiful bitch." He sneered as he walked towards me and gripped my hair in his hands. "Why?" I asked in a weak voice. He chuckled darkly as he brought his face closer to mine. "What would be the fun in that if I told you." He smirked as he brought his lips to mine.
I jolted awake as tears streamed down my face. "Ally are you okay?" William said as he rushed to me. I threw my arms around his neck as I started to sob. "He killed you and our baby. You were dead." I said between sobs. "Tesoro slow down what happened," William said as he caressed my cheek. I told him about my dream and when I finished his face hardened. "Witches, but why would they do this?" William mumbled to himself. "We need to go see Avnia," William said as he stood and helped me up. "Who is that?" I asked as he pulled me behind him. "She's half-wolf half-witch and an oracle. She can help us." William said as he opened the car door for me.
A few pack warriors followed us as we set off to find Avnia. I really hope she could help us.
