Allison's POV
We arrived at a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. The scent of gunpowder hit me as I stepped out of the car. Fairy lights hung from the trees creating an inviting feel. William knocked on the door twice before it creaked open and a beautiful woman stepped outside. She had pale grey eyes that appeared white under the fairy lights. Her black hair was pulled back in a neat ponytail. "Alpha I knew you would be arriving soon, please come in and have a seat." She said as she walked into the cabin.
We followed and took a seat on the sofa in front of her. She stared at me with an unknown look in her eyes. I shivered as I looked deep into her eyes, it felt as if she could see into my soul. She stepped closer to me and reached for my hand. I gently placed my hand into her's. "My child, what bothers you so? There's so much pain. We must help release it or you won't reach your full potential."
She led me to a table with a glass ball on it and took a seat across from me. She grabbed both of my hands and started to mumble in an unknown language as the ball began to glow. I felt a sense of calm wash over me as the bright blue hue of the glass ball turned into a murky green.
I sighed as I started to feel sleepy, William came and wrapped me into his arms as I fell into a peaceful sleep.
William's POV
Avnia looked at me with wise eyes. "The spell has been broken and the link shared has been blocked between her and Alexander." She said as she handed me a cup of tea. I took a sip and set it on the table. "Who do you think is helping him?" I asked as I brushed Allison's hair from her face. "Kyra."
My body stiffened at the name. "I thought she was dead," I mumbled in disbelief. Avnia looked at me with hooded eyes and sat on the chair across from me. "She was until she made a pact with a demon. She's more powerful than ever now, but there is a way to stop her." Avnia said with a look of determination in her eyes.
I nodded as I looked down at Allison sleeping soundly in my arms. I won't let anything harm you. I thought to myself as I stood up to follow Avnia.
We walked to a room with an old grey door. The door creaked as Avnia opened it. She led me to a dusty bookcase that had worn books on it. She then pull out a deep red book and sat it on the small table beside the bookshelf.
"Have you heard the story of the reincarnation of the true bloods?" Avina asked softly while running her finger along the worn book's spine. "I only heard bits and pieces, but never the full story why?" Avina nodded with a wise glint in her eyes. "Well have you heard of the prophecy?" Avina asked as we went back into the living room. "No, but what does that have to do with Kyra?" I asked as I gazed at Allison's sleeping face.
"The prophecy states that there will come a day where the moon goddess would bine a Lycan wolf spirit to a person that has been through a lot of pain and suffering." Avina glanced at Allison before a warm smile spread across her face. "That child has the wolf spirit of a Lycan. She must learn to love and trust herself in order for her powers to awaken. You must guide her and protect her until then. Once her powers awaken there will be people after her including Kyra. She doesn't need to train her powers because her wolf will help her with that, she just needs to learn how to protect herself." Avina said as she stood up.
"You should get going the clock has started. There's a long road ahead of you so you must prepare. I wish you the best of luck and may the moon goddess guide you and protect you on your journey, Alpha William." I thanked her as I picked up Allison and put her in the car.
I glanced at Allison as my heart began to race. I won't let anyone hurt you mi amore. I sighed as I headed home.
