Violet Mercado
"Don't you know that it is better to have someone you can call a friend?" Jun asks while eating there in the cafeteria. A week passed after Jun asked me something outside and he still keeps on hanging around me everywhere I go, even though I ignore him all the time. Last week has been rough. I've been bullied, but someone stands up for me aside from Jun. Some men were picking up on that girl that pulled my hair. I think it's fair enough for me. Those girls are lucky because I don't fight back with them. I'm sure they won't be able to see a new day ahead of them.
"You still gonna keep that up? The no-talking thing? Let's just text." he said, then took out his phone and started typing. We've been like this for a couple of days, he can only talk to me through text, he sends a lot of corny jokes that aren't even funny.

[Wanna come with me to the Mall? I'll buy a gift for my mom]
to: Jun
[No]
from: Jun
[Why?]
to: Jun
[I don't want to]
"Have you ever given your mother a gift?" Jun asks, but I text him my answer instead.
to: Jun
[She's gone]
"Oh. Sorry," he said, then looked away. "Are you okay?" I didn't want to answer that. She was shot in the head. I was 7 years old at that time and I saw everything.
"Violet I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," He was about to touch my face using his handkerchief but I stopped him. "Let's wipe off that tear," I got annoyed, so I stood up and left.
I didn't notice that he chased after me. I kept on walking until I reached my apartment. I felt uneasy because of the anger that was bursting out of me. I get fidgety and keep on walking around kept, I take a deep breath and drink water. But my body can't seem to calm down. I can no longer control myself, so I slip into my shadow outfit, then go straight to the back. I took my motorbike and drove to Gangster Arena.
I already had my mask on when I arrived at the Arena and Jun was already fighting with him. He looked angry because of the way he fought inside the ring. He gives a heavy blow to his opponent, but his attention looks like a different dimension. His opponent is getting beaten up badly without him noticing. One heavy blow landed on his opponent's stomach and he got knocked out.
"Weak! Is this the strongest you can give me!? Fight Me! Are you all cowards!?" Jun shouted angrily. That's when I make my entrance. I got everyone's attention. "Finally! My rival finally came. What took you so long?" Jun asks and it looks like he's happy to see me here. We faced each other in the middle of the ring.
He tried to punch my face but I dodged it, then I kicked him in his side and he didn't have a chance to evade. He groaned in pain, he tried to hide it. But it was showing to his face that he was in pain, then he came to me again. I avoided his every move, then I came at him this time but he managed to dodge me.
"Why do you look so upset?" I asked him while we kept on exchanging blows.
"You don't care," he said and kicked me in the arm.
"Is that a girl problem?" I asked.
"Can you please fight seriously?" he said, then I punched him in the stomach.
"Is it because of Violet?" I asked and that stopped him.
"You know her?" he asks.
"Just what I thought. Why? What happened to the cafeteria?" I asked him.
"Whoever you are, don't you dare lay a hand on her," he said, then walked away from me.
"What's got into me?" I asked myself while watching Jun leave the ring.
Jun Villaruel
"What happened? Why did you leave the ring?" Dave asked while walking towards me.
"Why does everyone know Violet?" I asked, annoyed.
"Well, I have no idea. Anyway, have you made her speak?" Jayson asked.
"Not a single word, none. Do you know that, because of me, she is being bullied? Then there's this someone acting like superman and standing up for her. How can I finish the dare?!" I asked them, annoyed.
"You're thinking about Violet but all of you make a bet on making her speak. I hope she doesn't talk to you," we heard Shadow say.
"She knows her?!" they ask simultaneously.
"Why? Do you hate that she is famous? I know her but she doesn't know me," she said when they left.

Ugh! It's so annoying! I knew it! They're just making fun of me. I headed home, then changed my clothes and headed outside again. I went to the park, seated alone on a bench looking at nothing. There are few people here, some are couples, some are with their pet and some are alone.
This is the best spot for me because of the fishpond. It lifts my mood. I like to come here every night. Only a few people come here at night.
"Are you with someone?" a man suddenly asked me. I shook my head as an answer. "Can I sit here?" he asked again. I nod my head, then he takes a seat beside me but he leaves a space between us. "Hi! I'm Felix," he introduces, then offers his hand for a handshake. I accepted his hand and gave him my name.
"Do you always hang around here?" he asks.
"No, it's my first time in a while. I needed space for everything," I replied.
"Oh, is that so? I come here often because of the beautiful view," he shares.
"Oh,"
"Are you studying?" he asks again.
"Yes," I replied.
"Which school?" He asks again.
"Villaruel College," I answered.
"Really? Let's meet there some time. I will go there too," he suggested, and I nodded as I agreed.
...
"Aren't you going home? It's too dangerous for you to be out this late," he says.
Oh right, I forgot. I didn't notice the time because of the talkativeness of Felix.
"I'm fine, I can manage myself," I answered, then took a stand.
"I know you don't trust me yet, but I'll escort you to your house. My conscience will kill me if something happens to you" he said, and I understood what he was trying to say, so I followed him. Even if he does something to me, I can defend myself.
During our ride to my apartment he still talks, his talkativeness is not that annoying, because he won't ask me much, he just shares something about himself.
I got out of his car and said my thanks to him when we stopped in front of my apartment, then he left after I entered my apartment.
