-ROBIN- "Get in." It was more like a demand than a plea. As a future Alpha, my inner wolf and I were upset by being ordered, thus I remained anchored to my location near Czech Romanov's Porsche Macan. But it appeared that the King of Iceberg had made the incorrect decision as he grabbed my arm and violently pulled me into the passenger seat of his car. "What the hell, man?" I grumbled aloud and was going to step out when the Epsilon sent me an unnerving glare that made me freeze and tremble. Damn it. My teeth gritted, attempting to calm myself. I took a big breath and leaned into my seat, giving him the impression that he had won. That satisfied Czech, the rotten frigid bastard, and with a groan, he slammed the door on my side shut. He moved to the opposite side of the automobile and sat on the driver's seat. "Mrs. Spark asked me over the phone to drive you home," he explained, frowning as he turned the car's ignition on. My nostrils flared as my annoyance towards him intensified. Seriously? Is he that close to my mother? "I can always take a bus and go home by myself, you know," I pointed out to him, but the man on my side pretended not to hear me as he locked his eyes on the road and drove off. "Jerk!" I mumbled under the rhythm of my breathing. My hand reached for my bag, dropped it on my lap, and then folded my arm over my little chest. Resting my head against the window, my lips puckered, recalling what had happened earlier. The moment Alicia dragged me into an empty room and pushed herself on me. A groan resonated inside my head. I am so stupid. Why did those words slip out of my mouth? The ridiculous 'I'm not into women' statement. In desperation, I blurted out those words. For Pete's sake! Why was I so unlucky these days? Why did the glacial beast who was with me at the time have to be the one to hear that out of all the students at North Wood High? I nibbled my lower lip. It was all the wench's fault. All I wanted was for her to quit pestering me and to end her insane fascination with me. As a result, I uttered things that could damage my family's reputation. What I had done and said to Alicia earlier had sunk deeply into my thoughts, and I understood how reckless I was. "Y-you've heard it, right?" I asked Czech Romanov in a sour tone. Well, I simply want to be sure everything is fine, and I desire to know what he is thinking about me. I shouldn't be concerned about it, but the man in the driver's seat caused me to feel uneasy. Czech nodded without even casting a glance at me and making no effort to make a single coherent phrase. That compelled me to lose my temper and snap. "Look, I'm not gay. I had to say that because that woman is f*****g nuts. She is getting on my freaking nerves." Geez! If she lays her fingers on me again, I swear I'll strangle her! "It's none of my business," was the response I received from the Epsilon. A chuckle resonated in my throat as I couldn't believe what he had said. Is it none of his business? Is the dude for real? Why in the world is he so annoying? It is my first encounter with an arrogant and impossible male wolf like him! My blood boiled as my fist gripped firmly, but before I lashed out at him again, I drew back and focused my attention outside the window. I'd rather ignore the bitterly cold bastard than lose my remaining cool. With that thought in my head, our ride became silent till we arrived at Spark Galore. Czech pulled his car outside our packhouse. As soon as it stopped moving, I moved and was going to get off, but suddenly came to a standstill. My lips twitched as I suddenly remembered something. I turned to Czech with a puzzled, still cranky expression. "How come I can't trespass on the Dark Prism while you have the privilege of going in and out of our pack?" I confronted him. The obnoxious Epsilon eventually switched his gaze towards me, and to my complete surprise, the corner of his mouth was raised as amusement flashed through his eyes. "Normal visits and trespassing are two distinct things, Spark. You are always welcome in our pack. Just make sure you don't appear anomalous crossing our respective borders in the middle of the night. The majority of our Epsilons have been roaming in that area, and if you don't take my words seriously, you could be killed." I blinked in astonishment. Truly amazing. It was the first time he had spoken something that long. What's up with him? Is he sick or what? As I nodded, an appreciative smirk developed on my lips. "Noted. Maybe I'll come to see your pack this weekend." As I had been drawn away by surprise, I blurted out those things, leading me to curse at myself afterward. What the hell, Robin? Inviting yourself into their pack, as if you were too close? Damn it. How I wish I could whack my face. Czech's brow furrowed as he peered at me thoroughly, making me anxious as I scratched my neck. "By the way, thanks for the lift, man." I intended to shift the subject and eventually get out of his car, but his hand extended and went for my arm. My breath hitched in my throat as my chest hammered abnormally loud from the abrupt physical contact. My head snapped back to Czech but was taken aback again when he leaned closer to my ear. "See you tomorrow, Spark," he muttered, and I gulped hard when his warm breath caressed my skin. My cheeks reddened as a cold ticklish sensation rushed down my spine, giving me intense goosebumps. "Y-yeah, see you tomorrow, Romanov." He smothered a satisfied grunt before finally releasing my arm. That was my cue to step out of his car and at last close the door. I threw him a little wave, and he nodded before driving away, leaving me bewildered. My fingers ran through my hair and I took a deep breath whilst biting my bottom lip. Okay. What the hell happened?
