Colter’s POV
We left my pack and Alexa, and I were in the back seat while Mac was driving. It was only an hour's drive, but she laid her head in my lap and went to sleep. I am pretty sure she was asleep before we were out of the driveway. I sat there and ran my hands through her hair. We also brought a warrior with us to just be extra safe.
“So, I got a call today from Julian, apparently Lauren showed up on his doorstep,” I told Mac.
“How does he always end up with everyone that gets banished or runs away?”
“I don’t know but I am thankful that Alexa ended up there otherwise I don’t know if we would have found her.”
