Alexa’s POV
“Jade, please tell me you are not on board with Colter?” I linked my wolf.
“No, I am not. We will hunt your dad down and kill him.”
I cut my link with her and let her continue running. She was running off our anger. When he told us that he wasn’t going to be going after my dad, it forced me to tell him what happened when I found my first mate. I hated telling anyone about that. I didn’t really want him to know either, but I knew that one day he would have to know. I don’t want him to think we are weak because we aren’t but used to be.
Jade ran for a long time until we came to our favorite spot. It was a little clearing of trees and you had a great view of the sky. We liked to come here at night and watch the moon and stars. Jade walked around and finally just laid down.
