The Wolf Within My Love

Chapter 8

    He closed his eyes and listened, when I noticed that he had closed them I leaned in and kissed him. It seemed to catch him off guard, I was enjoying it, eating it up. I had a smirk on my face which he decided to knock it off. In doing so he had put his hand between my legs and started to rub, almost like another tease. Then I realized, he was teasing me, and very much wanting to go for another couple of rounds. I needed some sleep before that happened again, put my hand on his hard chest and pushed ever so softly. He understood and leaned back against the bed. I laid down beside him and closed my eyes. I felt him get comfortable next to me and put his arms around me, I knew that this wasn’t over yet or at least not to him. 

    “Would you want me to change you?”

    “I don’t know yet, give me time to think about it.”

    “Well I hope so, only so I know I can keep you safe better.”

    “I understand that, but that’s a big choice. It’s life changing for me.”

    “I know and I will give you time to think about it, but don’t take to long. I don’t know when our healer will be leaving to his winter home.”

    Sleep was slowly taking over my body, I didn’t know if I wanted to let this night end so fast. I noticed he was also falling asleep, so I stopped fighting it and let it take me deep into the back of my mind. 

    I was walking down the street that led to my house, no one else was walking like there normally were. The shadows seemed to move out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look and they hadn’t moved at all. There was something there, I knew it, I could smell it. The smell was a dark wood and oak, completely abnormal for this part of town. I got closer to try to find whatever it was. Then a wolf comes out and attacks me with bare teeth. I sat up so fast in bed with a cold sweat, shaking that I woke up Leo. He looked at me worried, I tried to make him feel better and tell him that I was ok, but the truth was I wasn’t. That made my decision for me, I was going to become like him, a wolf and live the life he has grown up knowing. I was a little scared of that choice, but knew deep down that it was the right one. 

    I couldn’t go back to sleep after that, so instead I went to the kitchen and got me a Pepsi. I sat down and turned the TV on, finding a show about copes. It wasn’t vary interesting but it kept my mind from going back to the dream. It was around 4 now, Leo woke up and came down stairs, he sat next to me and didn’t say anything. 

    “I want to be like you, a wolf.”

    I could tell he was happy but worried at the same time, He didn’t think I was going to choose this. 

    “Are you sure?”

    “Yes, I want to be apart of the life that you have lived.”

    He sat there and didn’t say anything for a moment, then he got up and turned to me. Holding out his hand for me to take. I didn’t hesitate, I grabbed his hand and let him lead me up to the bedroom. The look in his eye told me he wanted to be sure, but I was sure of this. 

    “I have to make a call. Just wait here and I'll be back.”

    I nodded and sat there watching him leave the room. About an hour passed before he came back, and sat next to me. 

    “We can do this as soon as the sun rises. Is that what you want?”

    I nodded and watched him pull his phone back out and start texting someone. It was a mass text realized, it must be to his pack. Letting them know or to get them to come. When he put it down and looked at me, I could see more lust in his eyes, but I wasn’t in the mood right now. He kissed me softly and pulled away to see that everyone had responded. He then smiled and asked me if I wanted to lay down till the time came. I nodded and laid down with his arms wrapped around me. I quickly fell asleep. 

    When I woke up he was sitting up and looking at me. I noticed his hand was on my shoulder like he had been shaking me. I looked into his eyes and saw the wolf within, he had a wight dress in his other hand and held it out to me. It was time for the transformation, so I sat up and got dressed in the gorgeous wight dress he had handed me. 

    The dress has no sleeves and a V-cut, it comes down to my knees, little ruffles at the end and slightly form fitting. I couldn’t help but to look at myself in the mirror, I was wearing no shoes and my hair was down around my shoulders. He popped his head in the room and talked loud enough so I could hear him in the bathroom. 

    “Are you ready love?”

    “Yes.”
