Remington’s POV- The phoenix turned to look at me as the warriors fled the clearing. The vampire had said his name at one point but I was too out of sorts to remember. Father had said they were our Kings, but I hadn’t given them a chance to tell me that before fleeing. They had not been dressed the part then, but even through the haze of panic I could see their crowns and the regal styled clothes they wore now. I hadn’t taken in their appearances or their guards when I first saw my mates in the clearing, though as my father continued to confront me I felt incredibly stupid for both not knowing they were Kings and not knowing their names.
