Three Years Later...
"Maddox. Come here, sweetie."
I watch as my chubby cheeked, blue-eyed son stares at me with a mischievous gaze. The little stinker. Unlike Jasmine, who is the happiest pup I have ever seen, Maddox takes after his father.
Lord, help the child.
I know one day he will make a great Alpha, but today he is too busy painting his sister from head to toe and messing with buttons on the microwave.
Maddox starts reaching for the microwave again with a glint in his eyes. I walk over and pick him up. He immediately puts his hands on both my cheeks and smashes his face to mine, his eyes wide. I giggle.
"Mommy," he whines when I kiss his face repeatedly.
"What is Mommy going to do with you, Mr. Man?"
I hear the front door close. "I'm home," Reece announces and Maddox wiggles in my arms. I put him down and he runs to Reece, who is carrying Jasmine on his shoulders. I laugh when Maddox attaches himself to Reece's leg. Reece comes towards me and kisses me on the lips, nose, and cheeks. He wraps his arms around me and the twins eww at us.
"How are you today, Momma Bear?"
"Pretty good, Papa Bear. Except your son painted Jasmine and it took forever to get it off, but we managed."
"You always do," he says, before kissing me again.
"How was your day?" I ask him, curious.
"Pretty good. I had to kick Angelique out of the pack."
"Wow. That's great news." I smile.

After eating dinner, Reece and I put the kids to bed and head downstairs. We are in his office with me on his lap when I decide to bring up what has been on my mind since early this morning.
"How do you feel about another baby?" I ask quietly, looking up at him. I've been waiting to ask him. He's so great with Maddox and Jasmine that I don't see why he wouldn't be happy about the news. He looks away from the computer screen to gaze down at me.
Jesus, he looks good in those glasses.
"I think it's a great idea. I loved you being pregnant. It fits you beautifully. Why?"
"Well, I went to the doctor's today," I lead on.
Reece looks at me hopefully. "Are you pregnant?" He asks.
I nod. "Yes."
Reece laughs happily and crushes his lips to mine. A minute later, our clothes are gone and I'm on top of his desk as he makes love to me. His thrusts are slow and steady. I moan his name. I have one arm around his shoulder and the other on his behind, bringing him closer. He eventually picks up speed and starts pounding into me, while he sucks and kisses on my neck where my mark is, his arms beside my head. We come together and he wraps his arms around me. He kisses my lips softly and murmurs, "I love you, baby."
"I love you, Reece."
Four months later, our son Mayson is born. His blue eyes and dark hair match his father's. I knew when he looked up at me our family was complete.
I couldn't be happier.
