The look of shock is evident on the faces of the family beside mine as my family puts on a face of betrayal due to my reveal. There is a moment of silence after words come out of my mind as it probably processes in everyone’s mind up until now. It is a great revelation! After all, who would even expect a 17 year old girl to live alone when her family house is just near from the school itself and is just located in the city. Technically, there is no reasonable reason for such a girl to live alone at this age.
“You’re living alone?” Kai questioned me in confusion, raising his voice a little. He glances at my parents to confirm before he looks back to me with narrow eyes. “But... h-how? That’s impossible! Auntie wouldn’t allow it!”
