After our little talk, Logan leaves me to get some rest. He hasn’t told me where we’re going, but he says it’s a long ride, so I guess we’re going pretty far. When I wake up though, it’s light out. Sitting up. I run my fingers through my hair and sigh. In my old life, I’d check my social media and listen to music, but now I have none of those things to occupy myself. I can only imagine what’s being said on my social media accounts about me being missing. Is Alex pretending to be out looking for me, telling people that he loves and misses me? He’s probably pleading to the bad guys to please bring his fiancé home when, in reality, he’s part of the reason I’m in this whole predicament.
