10 An away-boat was ordered by Magnus and my many friends and I were stowed away in its interior. Tillit and Spiros received the oars while Xander sat at the bow. Darda and I took the stern with my hand on the rudder. Magnus and Alice stood on deck beside the boat. The captain stepped up to Xander. “We’ll be at the ready whenever ya come back, My Lord, even if we see ya flying.” Xander smiled and bowed his head. “And we will try to return your away-boat, if possible.” We were launched, and Spiros and Tillit took up their oars. The pudgy sus was hard-put to keep up with the ambitious dragon captain so that the ship was many times turning towards the rocks rather than the dock. “A little more pushing, Master Tillit!” Spiros scolded his other half. The sus huffed and glared at him
